Default What is the english version of the name Günther?

Günther derrived from old germanic Gunner, I know Gunner was for example a King or Prince of the Burgundians in the Nibelungen story

There is no modern equivalent that I know of. Gunnar is a Scandinavian name basically meaning Warrior, but I don't know of an English variant of this.
