Immigration consultants see immigration as jobs for themselves. Immigration advocates who have a naive idea of social justice see immigration as a way to achieve social justice for the world's poor.

the jerrymandering is extreme in canada, since liberals were in power for so long at provincial and federal levels. conservatives won the popular vote last election by almost 2%, yet liberals won far more ridings.

stupid conservatives never even discussed how ridiculously unfair that is. the first they should have done is push for proportional representation.
