Dude, you're the first one who brought up the subject of objectification. You are wrong and don't have experience to back your claims, just assumptions.
Like almost everything modern feminists and liberals are desperate to complain about, sexual objectification is a completely gender neutral issue. Ads and magazines portray both men and women in a sexual manner, and likewise, games have revealing clothing for both genders, for every busty female celebrity, you have a muscular male celebrity.
This percieved objectification is a consequence and result of their own ideologies. Sexual objectification is a product of cultural marxism in modern society. In today's society, sluts, coalburners, and mental disorders like homosexuality are even being glorified and praised.
However, liberals generally prefer white males in reality to be weak, flabby, and out of breath.
Their ideal male physique: Harvey Weinstein (fat) or Jared Kushner (bean stalk).
Dude, I know you are fat and can't even do twenty-push ups without vomiting. Do you seriously believe real women liked fat, racially insecure autists who spend their free time posting 90s pop celebrities (supposedly Kylie Minogue is an anal freak according to her ex Nick Cave, her love of showing her arse in her music videos makes it plausible), classification threads, and topless negro models/celebrities for a decade on an anthro forum? They don't.
^ The authors of the study said that this demonstrated "white male privilege" (for these men to be desired by straight women and gay men). The capacity for human whining and cope is almost endless unfortunately.
Honestly, I grew up in the 90's consuming mostly American media and ever since the 10's, I've seen a radical cultural change where everything has been subvert. Male heterosexual culture is at an all time low. Anything that caters to men is seem as misogynist and sexist.

I'm tellin' you, man, it's been that way as long as I've been alive, having grown up in the 1970s. But it has become more extreme in recent years, for sure. The days when women were overtly objectified in such a way (as opposed to men) was short-lived (if it ever happened-- I think mostly it's a stereotype with little evidence to support it), but had a short resurgence in the later-mid 1990s (with FHM and similar mags), and that seemed like a reactionary response to the oppressive feminism of the 1980s.
Playboy magazine was always considered pornography and hidden while Cosmopolitan has always been available at checkout counters.
