According to my family geneology, my colonial side descends from many Iberian kings and queens through Maria de Toledo, Duquesa de Veragua (including her recent ancestor Alfonso XI). She was the granddaughter of the first Duke of Alba and the wife of Diego Colon - son of Cristobal. Together they have many descendants in Puerto Rico.
But I think that is more just trivia than anything. Mathematically almost everyone with Iberian ancestry must descend from kings if you go back far enough. In my case the connection was just easier to find because that branch is well documented.
