At first, I would have bet that the 1st is Moroccan an the 2st is Portuguese, but in many of these challenges, the least obvious answer usually turns out to be the right answer, so, my guess is:
1. Portuguese

The vast majority of people in Madeira look indistinguishable from other Portuguese though (the man I chose for this topic is more atypical).
