Catholicism will expose you to demonic attacks, especially if you do things like pray to Mary or "saints". And by the way, if "Mary" appears to you it is not really her, but a demon. Same with this "Padre Pio". If you see him, it's a demon pretending to be him. And it needs to be rebuked in the name of Jesus.

I dont pray to Mary. Mary intercedes with her prayers for me. Read the revealation there are creatures of God who are under his throne and who pray day and night. Christians are also called to pray for eatch other. Mary is a Saint even the Bible says so. Read the part where the Angel speaks to Josef.

I also pray for the souls in puragatory and once they are in heaven they will give thanksgiving by praying for me. Christians are the community of saints, we should pray for eatch other.

You can pray for people but every man has to choose Jesus out of his own, for himself. And if someone has been cast into hell it is permanent, there is no escape -- that is why it is so terrifying. Once you die here, it is final for you and you can't change your destiny anymore. We are given this life on earth, where we have ample opportunity to choose God and accept Jesus into our lives as our Saviour. Once we die, that is it, and God will make a decision on where we will spend eternity based on our choices in this life before we died. There is no such thing as a temporary Purgatory, that is a convenient lie of the devil concocted by the Catholic church in order to get money from people's relatives in exchange for heavenly favours...

After you said that I read the catholic answer to that and it made sense to me. In the Bible there is that we pray for the dead if the dead were either eternally condemned to Hell or in Heaven we wouldnt need to pray for them. The orthodox church also lights candles and prays for the dead. I dont know if they have a purgatory though. Also the catholic church believes that nothing impure can enter heaven and that first we need to be cleansed for our sins, either we will receive the punishment in this world or in the next world or in both even if we are saved by the grace of Jesus. We need to be first cleansed from all sins, because nothing impure can enter heaven. I didnt know this before, but I know I prayed for my dad who passed away. So automatically did this and believed that kinda, before I knew this.
