As a catholic christian its a elematary part of our believe to fear god but also hell.
Fear Satan? If you actually believe in God and therfor hell and satan, how can you not fear the games satan is playing.
As a kid I was dead scared to be around 3am cause its the time of satan I got taught.

We shouldn't fear the devil, the only thing we should fear is the god. Devil is fallen angel, We should aknowledge that he existsence and "respect" him in that manner, but not fear.
Mortimer says about talking to Satan, who knows if that's a troll, maybe he is mentally ill, but a true believer, wouldn't even come to a stage where he talks to him.

Mortimer is mentally handicapped and not trolling, hes very honest tbh.
I think in his case his shizophrenia cannot be rationalized or treated by faith, he needs therapists and medication, I feel sorry that he has these visions, for us its funny but for him at the moment of the visions its a reality.
