What Christians can gain from Paganism?

Not to worship a dog or tree as God, but because those indo-european mythologies have christian virtues 1) the strong warrior who slays evil, Archangel Michael is the Leader of Gods army and he slays evil as well so does Indra or Thor, and that is a common virtue, and you gather riches by being good and fighting for the good cause just like Christian Knights 2) purity, chastity etc.

Speaking to the nation of Israel, God said:

2) I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3) Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

For those who want to become Christians, all virtues that God would want them to practice after conversion are recorded in the Bible, and so there is no need to consider any other source. Even if someone only the considers virtues as "exemplified" by pagan deities, he or she would still be open to the temptation to worship them. Israel did so more than once during the time of the Old Testament, and God was forced to punish them accordingly.

I dont worship it, but I like it. Like Legends, Fairy Tales etc. I do not worship those Gods, but they are basically heroes or supernatural heroes. Like Christian Knights. They fight giants, demons, evil and slay them and there is light over darkness. I also read the Nibelungen and liked it. Do you know the Nibelungen?
