Can you tell who were Bjarms? They were mentioned in Norwegian sagas, but no one seems to know more.

by the sagas, some chronicals and by some maps it could be saami, komi, some finns that lived on Kola or dissapeared people like chud', or baltic finns like livonians. who knows?

Before the Winter War Stalin said that he will soon replace Finns by Belarusians, because Belarusians are almost as blond as Finns and no one would recognize the difference. Actually he said that Belarusians look like Finns, but this mistake can be forgot because in Georgian eyes the difference was not big at all. But what surprises me is that he sent here Ukrainians, who can't be mistaken as Finns.
