I've always considered religion as spiritual belief unrelated to Culture, Civilizations and everything else.

Look at those tall buildings built in Istanbul, completely blocking access to sea and even block from seeing it. Those flats are going to be sold to Gulf Arabs. This is just one example.

It is funny really since Arabs aren't actually from Arabia, and it was the Greeks who named the entire peninsula as such even though most of the inhabitants at that time weren't Arabs or Arabic speakers. And besides, um, many of the inhabitants here aren't Arabs really since Arabs here in the UAE are a minority while South Asians are the majority(native Emirati Arabs are only 12% in their own country). About Bosnia, I'm really against on what these people are doing, but really, is it not something that you wouldn't predict really due to Islam and all that jazz. Turkey for example had been building many mosques in Albania and etc due to "muh ummah" by Erdogan, and yet, the secular Turks look down on these people regardless. People often than most would use religion for political and economic gains, and that's what we're seeing here.

In other words, it would have been better if you guys had stayed Christian rather than adopting Islam from the Ottoman Turks.
