It is indeed a great controversy for a Bosniak like him since his identity is very linked with his religion and all that. I mean, if he had converted to Orthodoxy then he's an ethnic Serb, and had he converted to Catholicism then he's an ethnic Croat. That's not the case in the Arab world thankfully since pre-Islamic Arab Christians were either Greek Orthodox Christians(Ghassinids, Tanukhids, Nabateans and others) or the Nazarene Christians of Mesopotamia(Lakhmids) and the Persian gulf which most Levantine Christian Arabs today belong to along with the native Catholic churches like the Maronite church.

Serbian Orthodox Church is one milimeter away to become Orthodox Protestant church just like Russian Orthodox Church, and then they wouldn't be considered part of our world at all.
I've said to Serbs: "If you severe your relations with High Patriarch in Constantinople you are Alien to me".
Putin is Asian and part of Schismatic Orthodox Church canceled all relations with Constantinople.
The reason why I personally have a great respect for Orthodox Christians is that because there are still people in Constantinople who follow that religion.
We are waiting for them to convert to Islam just like 80% of all Orthodoxes have.

Bosniensis originated from Serbian clan Predojević https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telli_...sha#Early_life
Ancestors of Bosniensis celebrate Slava St.George's day before conversion on Islam https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slava
Bosniensis have cousins among Orthodox Serbs who carry same surname as he and celebrate St. Geogre's day.
