US Army Stryker vs Russian Army BTR-80 who would win?

I was in a Stryker unit in the Army so this video is near and dear to my heart. Adding a 30mm autocannon to the top of the Stryker might stop the "near peer" pressure from the Russian counterpart the BTR-80. Chris Capelluto was formerly in a Stryker Brigade Combat Team and gives his review.

I think view ports just create structural weakness, they might help with diffusing blasts but I doubt it.

Another thing to consider is that Strykers now have alert systems that tell you where fire is coming from and also have tracking systems not to mention the U.S military since Vietnam and the 80's has been much stricter about ammo quality as where the Russians are more about quantity. Not to say their ammo is bad, but the whole reason Iraq sucked during the Gulf war in an armor sense was due not just to their tactics but the shelf life of the Russian ammo. AK ammo has had similar problems with shelf life which has lead to the myth that they are inaccurate alongside poor maintenance. It's usually corrosive ammo in small arms that has a longer shelf life imo.

The Russians are replacing the BTR-80 with the Kurganets-25 and VPK-7829 Bumerang. The US does not have a replacement for the Styker (considering its younger age compared to the BTR-80), and they cancelled the anticipated modular Future combat systems (FCS) long ago. I guess they will stick to upgrading the Styker.
