Default A-10 Warthog vs. F-35 Lightning in Close Air Support

The A-10 Warthog can fly while missing half a wing and one engine. The F-35 was taken out by a large bird. Apparently, F-35 armor is only rated for small birds. On the real, the stealth technology on the F-35 is incredible and the warplane will be necessary for the future for near-peer battles.

I don't think the F-35 should be used in anything except to avoid radar or other stealthy missions. the A-10 is robust and durable, you use the f-35 to wipe out tracked and static AA for the A-10.

Or use helicopters such as the AH-64. It's time to update that one (and the Eurocopter Tigre).
