Thornton writes: “Probably no single individual has had a more profound effect on 20th-century thought than Sigmund Freud.”[2] This article examines whether Freud deserves such notoriety—or perhaps its opposite.

Well, he did lay the very foundations of psychoanalysis for people with mental disorders like myself and others, but really, most of his knowledge on that is pretty much outdated and wrong which is true for people like Charles Darwin in his theory of evolution.
