Jokes aside, he does look like the proto-indo-european yamnaya reconstructions. All of them had convex nose and mesocephalic robust head with neutral canthal tilt caucasoid eyes, genetically they were more northern than all of the european populations, finns included(by a margin if not more), with only the caucasus dragging them south eastern. It would be interesting if they show how the Afanasievo looked like, these were more eastern than them and had additional ASE influence, but besides this, they were akin to yamnaya. It would be awesome if they find more afanasievo samples. It's good to know there was indo-european continuity all the way to China, probably would have been spread even further, reaching korea, afanasievo being the eastern branch of yamnaya and imagine the languages which could be spread in manchuria or mongolia, how closer they would be in phonology/grammar to the western yamnaya branch derivatives. Makes good for a fanfic...This is what I call the reverse-turkic invasion, if the R1 IEs would have been succesful in the steppe then they would spread in the middle of china even, manchuria, north korea. The turanid concentration would of course be there instead. The geopolitical landscape would change very much I think, if that'd have happened 3000-5000 yrs ago.
