Take a look. I did not cherrypick btw:

^^Dominicans and Brasilians have similar components: native (brazilid), European (Iberian), SSA (west and central Africa). Brasil is just more European and less SSA (and quite large too). I can tell you that my relatives can pass in Brasil quite well.
    But thats a huge difference

DR average is like Salvador average, the darkest city of Brazil. Both places are mulatoid.

Most countries in Latam share the components you said, its not a big thing.

Lol relax my friend. I did not say Brasil and the DR are identical. Go back to my post. You're basically repeating what I already stated.

No, Brazilid is only present from Nicaragua/Honduras down to the Amazonian. Your Amerindians are quite distinct from Mexican natives, for example.

An insecure Brazilian getting defensive because someone says there is some overlap between the DR and Brazil. My God.

To clarify the similarity of DR is way stronger with the specific city of Salvador, the african heart of Brazil, its not repeat what you said.

Salvador is more similar to Santo Domingo which a bit more SSA than the national Dominican average. Average Dominican must be between 38%-41% SSA. Salvador seems a bit more negroid than that from the studies I've seen and likely that a few points more SSA than our capital. Either way I agree that the state of Bahía is the closest to the DR as a whole.

Your response came out as defensive considering you've been giving me thumbs down lately and then here you replied mentioning "but its a huge difference" for just saying there is some overlap between Brazilians and us. I'm not that new in the anthrofoums world, my friend. I know how insecure some LatAms can be. There are more Dominicans scoring 60% caucasoid than 60% SSA in DNA tests btw. Since this thread is about pardos, you know.
