Which American city has the best downtown IYO??

I've been to Chicago downtown and it's incredible! All of my acquaintances and family who've been to NYC and Chicago even tell me they prefer Chicago over NYC.

I haven't been to NYC yet so I can't make a fair assessment-comparison, but my vote so far goes to Chicago.

I was in Chicago four years ago for three months. I am contemplating going back once my lease in Denver runs out. The prices for a 1bd in downtown Denver are insane. I figure I might as well get more bang for my buck, and save some $ as well.

Pittsburgh is way underrated and a good value compare to cities like Boston, NYC, LA, SF, etc.
