This is how I define a modern Arab:

1- He should be from the Arabian Peninsula (Saudi Arabia, Yemen, U.A.E, Kuwait…)

2- He should be a Muslim (and cherish the Islamic History, heritage, culture and traditions)

3- He should speak Arabic

Those 3 criteria are inseparable to make someone an Arab, if only ONE of them is missing, then this person isn’t an Arab.


The rest are Arabized.

Arabs are those from Southwestasia (Peninsula) who speak arabic. And they are more related to Southern Europeans and Africans than to their immediate neighbors (Turks, Persians etc.)
