Almost the same.
Immigration last times was quite subtle and not that big for Argentina...

The police and social services would be smaller but much more efficient. We would probably be a bit like Italy or Japan in terms of ageing.

Probably the Netherlands is as older as Italy or Japan (maybe a little less, but little), because all the western non-communist countries with "high" fertility rates since the 80´s are due to inmigration and their fertility, not native one, that remains stable in very low numbers.

Basically some countries hide its real demographical situation of its native population with inmigrants, while other do less, or don´t at all (Japan, Eastern Europe). But basically all are in the same situation.

Before 1995 there were barely inmigrants from anywhere in Spain, and the 1% of inmigrant population were mostly descendants of spaniards.

Didn't most of the Northern European retirees come in the 1980's and 1990's? As for Venezuela, you forgot to mention the vast numbers of refugees from Central America and the Southern Cone who came in the 1970's and 1980's.

Yes, most of them came n the 1980-1990. I was just thinking that there must have been, still in the 60-70s some few German, British and French retired seniors living in the Spanish Mediterranean coasts by then, but nothing comparable to the big wave of them coming in the 80s and 90s. Of course, they would be much less of them living in Spain nowadays than irl.

Regarding Venezuela, YES, I forgot to mention the Argentinian and Chilean refugees fleeing from the southern cone dictatorships. There would not be Argentinians, Chileans and Venezuelans of those origins, but that immigration was less important than the huge Spanish, Italian and Portuguese immigration between the 1950s-1970s, and the descendants of that European immigration would be nearly all of them living in Venezuela today. The only middle to upper class Venezuelans that you would find living abroad, would be young people visiting the European countries of their ancestors, or students living in USA (in cities like Boston, Miami, New York, etc) studying in there but with plans to return back to Venezuela when they finish their studies.
