She is native Russophone and half Russian genetically, although parents told her that they are only Russian. That's why she gets the elevated West Asian, as the algorithm has trouble with the differentiation between Balkan and West Asian for some mixed folk. Or maybe her Russian side has something exotic. The second example from Romania I assume, since this is what we have talked about in the Bulgarian thread, is probably again very mixed, as the results are now more homogeneous for everyone that I saw in my matches. People don't get more than 0.5% in Broadly components usually.

I just realized how much I can contribute to this thread because of my ancestry So I will be posting here some of my matches once in a while.
For a start, here's my strongest 23andme match from the Republic of Moldova, ancestry from Strășeni District:
1. Greek & Balkan 60.3%
2. Eastern European 36.9%
3. Ashkenazi Jewish 1.6%
4. Anatolian 0.6%
5. Broadly European 0.4%
6. Unassigned 0.2%
Her ancestry composition is similar to mine overall.

Romanian in theory, with possible Saxon ancestry? Ancestry from Hunedoara, Arad and Caraș-Severin counties. His ancestry profile looks more Hungarian than mine... but I'm not surprised anymore.
