Merkel was the first female Chancellor and she wasn't that bad (actually presided over the greatest growth economy ever) until she opened the borders. Germans voted for her because she provided stability. Karrenbauer had no support even in her own party. CDU is split between people that want to work with the far left and people that want to work with the AfD. I hope they go further to the left so they become irrelevant and the AfD replaces them.

Merkel was a bar chancellor even before 2015. She did not deliver on campaign promises such as tax breaks and she fucked us up by her bann of nuclear energy, immigration laws, gay marriage and adoption, abortion, diesel bann, subsidies etc

Really? But the German economy has grown greatly under her leadership and Germany has grown its trade surplus. So far they have made a 2.9 billions surplus cause of interests.

Economy isnt everything and the result of Schäuble our former minister of finance, not Merkel. Even more the welfare reform of Schröder the former chancellor called Agenda 2010 kept our economy strong.
