Yes, Spanish, for example, is much more spoken in the US than Brazil.
The only places in Brazil with a significant proportion of Spanish (or Portunhol) speakers lies the border towns with Hispanic America, and let's not forget most of the Brazilian population live far away from the borders.
In the US, you have many things written in Spanish, like radio, TV, ads... not a common thing in Brazil, to not say nonexistent.
