By this I do not necessarily mean the most hostile to the West; rather, which culture/civilisation is the most distinct from the West and would have the most difficulty or reluctance in adopting at least certain aspects of it?
IMO it is India. This is because:
(a) Its main religion and way of life is a polytheistic faith totally different from the Abrahamic tradition.
(b) Its levels of traditionalism, misogyny and superstitiousness far exceed not only the West (including Latin America and the Caribbean) but also China, Japan, SE Asia and even most of the Middle East and much of Africa.
(c) Even within Western countries themselves, Indians tend to be more (self)-segregated than are Blacks, East Asians, Latin Americans and even many North Africans and Middle Easterners.
(d) The prevalence of Bollywood in India's films, music and television thus makes the penetration of Hollywood much more limited than in many other parts of the world.
