If we compare Spanish and Italian Kits in gedmatch we will notice that Italians have a pretty higher West Asian + East Med + Red Sea. I will call those 3 East Med in this thread. So what i did is to compare the continental ancestry of 1.154 Argentines depending on their East Med range (Maxed to 100% in every individual) . So West Astian + East Med + Red Sea maxed to 100%


Argentines in the Iberian Range (10-23% East Med) are

25% between 20-60% European
25% between 60-75% European
25% between 75-88% European
25% between 88%-100% European


Argentines in the North Italian Range (23-32% East Med) are

25% between 29-66% European
25% between 66-79% European
25% between 79-91% European
25% between 91%-100% European



Argentines in the Central / SouthItalian Range (32-60% East Med) are

25% between 51-77% European
25% between 77-87% European
25% between 87-96% European
25% between 96%-100% European

You won't end up with North Italian mixing the two unless southern italian is below 50%.

You end up with a Northern Italian with a French and a Southern Italian, pretty much.

I always end north italian in the oracles, well you know very well my case, 3/4 Iberian (mainly galician) and 1/4 eastern sicilian.

West Asian East med and red sea are just component names in eurogenes k15 both iberians and italians will score score some of them. Just italians will score more.

This is a heavy Tuscan-shifted North Italian, a very southern sample for North Italian standards, and it is 26% East_Med considering also West Asian and Red Sea.

GEDmatch calculators suck for Italians, because there are very few reference samples.

Do you have all those data in an excel type table?I mean the 1154 individuals data.

It would be interesting to see what a the average k15 of that classification is for every origins.

(No sé si me explico bien en inglés, me refiero a hacer las medias de argentinos con ancestros italianos y españoles, para ver como sería un tipo promedio de k15 de cada clase)
