Most light eyes in Serbia are blue though. Grey is not common and green (actual green, not hazel) isn't common either. With the map you've sent there's clearly some regional distinction and parts of Serbia where my figure is too low

It's too low for all the countries mentioned. All of the mentioned countries in the OP's post have over 25% light eyes overall. 20% or below that would be blue eyes only.

Also, I don't see how Central and Northern Greece can be lower than 20% in total light-eyed. I've been there myself, throughout the region, and it was certainly above 25%.

I'd say Greece has more light eyes than Serbia even

He's not far off the mark. If I take into account all the people I've went to primary, high school and university with througought the years, it's about 20%. The 'sample' here would be almost 200 individuals in total. Smaller enivronments have more people with light pigmentation traits, but nothing too remarkable. If you look at random sports teams, groups of actors, politicians, students. etc, the percentages are more or less consistent.

There was a Eurogenes K13 thread on Albanian samples. All of them had Italy(whether north or south) at their top 5 matches
True, I've even seen Albanians plot like... Tuscans !

    Italian like

Light eyes should also include "8" on Martin-Schultz scale, in lot of "recent" studies (notably italian anthropology studies in the 80s) light eyes range is 1-8, I would say that there are also eyes that are clearly between the 7 and the 8 level.
