How Middle easterners and Europeans view Maghrebis ?

Turks don't know much about Maghrebis, we don't know the history of North Africa or the existence of Berbers, we just consider you Arabs with no knowledge on unique features setting Maghrebis apart.

I agree that's also the impression I get here in Belgium they are viewed as arabs/muslims and that's it

interesting and actually not all of them are arabized there are still mountainous and desertic groups who are berber culturally (for example my mother can't speak arabic she speaks a berber dialect called tarifit)

I notice berbers have more liberal culture than arabs, especially the non religious guys, sometimes even they're more liberal/ less traditional than southern europeans .
