How Middle easterners and Europeans view Maghrebis ?

Quebec is full of Haitians and Maghrebis. Most separatist/nationalist leaders want more immigration from Haiti and the Maghreb only because they speak French, so they could make sure to get as many francophone as possible to "preserve" the language. For the longest time, Arab immigration to Quebec was Catholics escaping the rise of Islam. Almost all Lebanese here are like that. Haha actually it's more complex because for example in Morocco berbers are known for being more conservative (but that's probably because they are from rural and poor areas mainly) the only exception I know is Kabyles in Algeria who are well known for being quite liberal and "westernized" (it's not rare to see some of them drink alcohol, having non-traditional tattoos, some of them are even christians, etc). What you're talking here is more about the berbers who grew up in the west like me but if they appear more liberal and less traditional it's mainly because they grew up in western europe or north america imo they are in a processus of assimilation

Both Palestinians and Syrians view them as their close kin. There's a Syrian politician that is working under Bashar is of Berber origins, though I forgot his name since it was my French Arabophone Berber friend here told me about him. We Palestinians are treated very well in the Maghreb from both Arabs and Berbers alike in that region far more so than in most middle eastern countries.

The only Levantines that do that are the most OWD ones like the Maronite Christians, but even that it's not all of them are like this since most of them in real life aren't like what you see on the internet. And besides, Levantines and Maghrebis overlap with one another greatly in their phenotypes than either of them to Europeans.
