If Germany is "west," and Central Europe is Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia, - and maybe Lithuania - then yes. I think that is a bloc of countries with strong historic, economic, political, and social similarities.

Personally I don't define Central Europe at all, I define post Soviet countries, Intermarium(all countries between former Soviet Union and Germany except for Greece which is in South), South Europe(Balkans and Iberia) and West Europe(all the rest)
