Default Which towns and cities in your country have trains to more than one terminus in the capital city?

Obviously this only applies to countries where the capitals do have more than one terminus, so not e.g. Italy where Rome only has one terminus (imaginatively called 'Termini').

    Anyway, in Britain:

    Paddington/Waterloo

Reading, Westbury, Bath Spa, Bristol, Exeter.

    Paddington/Marylebone

    Oxford, Kings Sutton, Banbury.

    Waterloo/Victoria

    Portsmouth, Southampton.

    Victoria/St Pancras/London Bridge

    Redhill, Gatwick, Haywards Heath, Brighton.

    St Pancras/London Bridge

    St Albans, Luton, Bedford.

    Victoria/St Pancras/London Bridge/Charing Cross

Dartford, Ashford (Kent), Folkestone, Maidstone, Dover, Margate.

    Kings Cross/Liverpool Street/St Pancras

    Cambridge.

    Kings Cross/Moorgate/St Pancras

    Stevenage, Letchworth, Hitchin, Welwyn.

    Kings Cross/St Pancras

Huntingdon, Peterborough, Newark, Lincoln, Doncaster, Wakefield, Leeds, York.

    Euston/Marylebone

    Birmingham.

N.B. I checked again, and Welwyn doesn't have trains to St Pancras. Also, another town in Kent with trains to lots of London termini is Rainham.

Plus of course Southend in Essex has trains (albeit from different stations) to both Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street.

That's cheating, what's the point if you not answering by memory? Everyone can check that online.

Despite the best efforts of the vile Dr Beeching in the 1960's, our railway network is still one of the most complex and extensive in the world. One reason I'd be reluctant to move to any Latin American country (and even to some extent North America too) is their lack of a proper railway infrastructure.

They use planes, bigger distances. Developed railroad systems are almost exclusive of European and a few Asian countries.

And cars and coaches too. If you travel by first-class coach it can actually be quite nice. If not, well...

I personally hate airports and the whole waste of time to get in the plane. I prefer a good coach to a train because tgey stop every 2 or 3 hours and I can smoke.
