Great Britain could quit European Convention on Human Rights as Boris Johnson vows to review 'overpowerful' courts.

Do it Boris, human rights was set up to protect victims but is now used to protect criminals.

We should also stop legal aid for foreign nationals.

The Government’s determination was stiffened by this week’s Court of Appeal decision to block the deportation of 25 foreign criminals to Jamaica out of the 'Jamaica 50' deportees, of whom the rest were put on a plane and deported last week.

The Prime Minister and Home Secretary are said to be “furious” at the court decision to block the criminals from being deported, and Boris Johnson is now planning to accelerate moves to limit the powers of campaigners to use judicial review to block deportation policy.

It follows recent rulings where judges snubbed the PM on his Brexit strategy and attempts to deport foreign criminals.

Ministers believe the Human Rights Act, introduced by former Labour Party Prime Minister Tony Blair to enshrine the ECHR (European Convention on Human Rights) in UK law, which has gradually increased the power of UK judges over the Government.

Mr Johnson is determined to use his Democracy and Rights Commission to stop the growing reach of judges, according to Sun columnist James Forsyth.

An ally of the PM said his new Attorney General Suella Braverman — who will play a key role in the courts review — believes “metropolitan liberal elite policies rejected by the electorate are being imposed by courts, domestic and foreign”.

He says there is a “growing sense at the top of Government” that fixing the problem might be “impossible” while still remaining under the convention.

The UK won’t have fully left the EU until:

* We pay it no money and stop funding over £1bn each month after the transition period ends on 31st December 2020

* We are out of the CAP & CFP

* We are not bound by its laws

* We make our own laws

* No jurisdiction of CJEU

* No military integration

* No EAW, etc

Only full restoration of national sovereignty on 1st January 2021 at the end of the UK-EU transition period equals a real (clean-break/WTO) Brexit.
