She was a huge star in the most competitive era in music. Plus her sound (along with Miami Sound Machine) was totally different to what was in the radio back then. What those Cubans musicians did was an hazaña indeed. Gloria was a global star. I'm not even a big fan of her music. Please stop trolling. I know you are.

Nope. Gloria was huge in the American market and I mean gringo/anglo market among the white Americans. She actually started making music in español after she became famous singing in English. And like I said, the woman was considered one of the divas in pop music back then. People just forgot about her which is mad weird to me. I think her label/management might be the reason why she never did a descent comeback. The Estefan made a massive influence in the Latino world too. They sorta became embassadors.
