I am in Moscow, we also have a non-standard situation - the temperature this winter has been jumping between 0°C +5°C, and stable snow cover fell only a couple of weeks ago, and it is very small.
Only 20-25 years ago, the norm was from -10°C to -20°C and snow knee-deep.
Warming began here in the 90s, maybe this is somehow connected with the collapse of the USSR and the transfer of ownership of this territory to other people?[joke?]

Folks in Boston have complained about getting more than 8 feet of snow last winter. But people in the remote village of Capracotta, Italy, about three hours east of Rome, supposedly picked up more than 8 feet of snow in roughly 18 hours few years ago..

Yea, 13 years ago it used to be -25 to -30 in my city, today its been +8 lol
