Calabria and Sicily combined have something like 6 million people, the remaining of Italy 60,4 million. I don't care if these swarthoids are the mainstream among Italian-Americans, they are uncommon in Italy and other countries where Italians settled (even though I'm part swarthoid Calabrian nig-nog myself, around 1/8 or so, but it's too low to affect my results given that my remaining ancestry is normal European).

People from Campania are very outlying, people from Basilicata aren't particuliarly northern shifted, only Apulians and Abruzzo as a whole.

I would like to see results from Bari area because I'm 1/8 apulian.

People from Puglia come up consistently as similar to Peloponnesians.

I've seen yes. There are also apulians plotting in Central Italy (I've seen one from Bari).

Even the darkest kalash has a European influence in terms of features. The contribution is always discernible compared to a Indian (from the north or the south), IMO.

The contribution between 25 and 35% Indo-European seems to have an impact on their appearance.

The Kalash look European only on anthroforums. In reality they look Afghan or Pakistani or Northern Indian. That's a fucking small tribe anyway. Even Tajiks are 1/4 or 1/3 Steppe on G25, yet they are still fucking dark and don't look European.

But there is also the selection of traits: a family can be genetically completely Sicilian and have completely European traits, this is not incompatible: Sicilians are not 100% Levantine, they have European genes, this which can produce European phenotypes in a family without any Levantine influence.

Yeah, I'd argue that Sicilians and even Lebanese people look much more European on average than Kalash, Tajiks, Jatts, Pashtuns and any other heavily steppe influenced groups from South Asia/Central Asia. Many Jatts I've seen in real life were brown as fuck, some even with dark brown skin. Yet some of these people have 30-40% Sintashta blood.

At the same time, most Lebanese have pale or olive skin, very few are truly ''brown''.

Correct. Georgians and Laz (Turkified Kartvelians in NE Turkey) are way lighter than any Central Asian, yet they are heavily Caucasus HG, not much Steppe in them. Hell, even Persians are not darker than Central Asians on average.
