Feminine men

Do you think that very feminine men are more often gay, if compared to average/not feminine men?

I got inspired by a recent discussion that I had with a friend.

Not necessarily, especially if it's a fashion/subculture thing. However, I am generally put off by feminine-looking men. Most of my female friends, however, go ga-ga over men looking like this:

By feminine I do not mean just a man's looks, but his overall aura. If he has a feminine voice, has feminine gestures etc, I hope that you get my point.

Oh I am sorry, I completely misunderstood;

so you don't mean overly groomed/metrosexual/purposefully feminine-looking men, but rather people with some kind of hormonal imbalance/disorder?

Could you please give an example?

Well having feminine voice and gestures is already an alarm alert...calling him homosexual.

Usually I call a guy feminine when he use female gestures, rituals, etc...but I wont call a guy feminine by his facial traits or something, either by the way he dresses (if he's more like a metrosexual or just someone who's into fashion).

But I do mark a difference between feminine men and gays.

Ma olin lihtsalt väga üllatunud, et sa kohe ütlesid, et minu loogika lonkab. Naiselikud mehed on tihedamini homod kui mitte-naiselikud mehed. Selles pole midagi halba, aga nii on.

Are very feminine men more often gay than average/non-feminine men?

Yes this is true.

I've taken music classes my whole life (music collects all the feminine guys in one place) and I've met guys that seemed really normal but they had some feminine traits every now and then as you get to know them more. Like the way they sit in a chair with their feet in a girly position, their ultra neat handwriting, their humor was not as crude as an average guys. They cared about their looks a great deal, even to the point of going to tanning salons sometimes! And now a few of these guys have come out of the closet as gay as we've grown up.

I was often told growing up that I'm very feminine for a guy but there's no way in hell I'm gay. Just because someone cares about his looks, dresses nicely, likes emotional movies/music doesn't make him gay. I think there's other more subtle traits that are better indicators; handwriting, body posture, the way they speak, their humor. Those things are often harder to hide.
