Well, spring is around the corner. Hopefully, that will slow the spread. Whoever said that this will dampen the economy is right, though. If people can't go to work, we can expect a real slowdown.

If the virus is in northern Italy...well we all know that sooner or later all Europe is going to be infected.
The optimistic aspect is that normal flu kills more people around the world every year.

Tenerife has it now, Italian tourist. That is their local economy knackered for a wee while.

These days with European countries who claim to close borders instead to send medical help is a further confirm that this is not a "Union" and we should quit as soon as possible.
There are chances that is already in other parts of Europe. Italy got more because is doing mass tests while other countries dont.
