Veneto is only few hours drive by car from my city and we have lot of interaction with north Italy, including Lombardy. Tons of people work there.
I told my dad to buy masks for our entire family tomorrow, I don't care will we look stupid or not, but not taking a risk. I use public transportation often and not going on it without mask anymore.

I live in French Alps at 3h of italian border and my area is well connected to Piedmont where there's one infected...

You would have to put glasses because the virus can even infect people through eyes.
