Greece is abandoned.

Germanic nations (EU proper) got bored of "We wuz ancient rulerz" theme and background especially in Digital Age where Mythology isn't worth a dime.

Greece has been left to rot among the most vile balkanic nations (Serbs, Bulgarians, Albanians) whom will soon transfer their mentality to partially-westernized Greeks.

Balkan people are known for walking backward or even running when progress is concerned, reactionary policies like heading to Monarchy or Despotism being popular in Serbia or
Ottomanism among the Turks isn't a good sign/hope for Greek future progress.

Balkan people have an enormous capacity and potential to produce a problem out of nothing and to spread it to their neighbors. How will poor Cosmopolitan Greeks fit into that?

Bulgarians, Macedonians, Albanians can't be entertained or amused with Ballet or Dance but rather with pure hatred, wars, blood and swearing.

I feel sorry for Greeks.

If only West kept them for little longer.

Greece just hasn't reached out to the west, the U.S is one of Greeces biggest trading partners. Just because things haven't changed overnight in Greece doesn't mean the wheels aren't turning.

Dude, not even 400k are in the country now. Before the crisis, it was 700k. Not even nearly 2 million.
