it's a hypothetical situation, we cannot invade and annex a country that is independent and sovereign, there will be sanctions from the UN if that happens.
For South America there are plans to unite the entire region commercially, something similar to the European Union.

I prefer the way it is, Brazil being the only Lusophone country in Latin America, it makes us a singular people in the Latin American context, where most of the countries are Hispanic.
Well, if Brazil anexed Argentina, our Italian imput would greatly increase, since Argentina is, behind Uruguay only, the most Italian country in the New World, it would also increase the proportion of Dinarid types, more common among typical Argentinians than common white Brazilians, who are mainly Iberian.

Not unless you Brazilianize the people living in those regions already similar to South Brazil but over there it’s with Germans and Italians, you would just have to apply that method to the territories of the Guianas, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia and make the official language Portuguese

Most Southern Brazilians aren't ''Germans and Italians'' but a mixture of those groups with Colonial Brazilians. Colonial Portuguese input is by far the biggest ancestry in the overwhelming majority of Brazilians, including in people with recnet immigrant ancestry and in pardos. Only self-identified ''blacks'' would have a more well proportioned ancestry (40% Portuguese, 10% Amerindian, 50% African).

But =/= types of italians in both countries.
Brazil has more north italians and Argentina the opposite.

Portuguese (many came as Azorean immigrants) Italians, Germans and Slavs. The south of Brazil is not colonial (they are small towns on the coast), in the south of Brazil we do not have carnival and churches not is Portuguese.

The biggest colonial city here is Porto Alegre-RS
