No, he/she is half Italian half Macedonian and I am full Macedonian whether you like it or not. That's how our ancestors felt, that's how I feel. It has nothing to do with ancients or anything. Btw, Vardar is a river that streams in Northern Macedonia from a part of the country that was known as Dardania in the ancient past, then flows to the South and enters a territory of North Macedonia that was known as Macedonia Secunda during the Roman period and finally enters Greece and what was known as Macedonia Prima and into the Aegean.
So naming us according a river rather than the territory is a pure stupidity but I don't expect anything else from you Greeks.

How do you know my ancestors, are you a long lost family member or something?

Personally, my ancestors felt Macedonian. As long as you are acting in a disrespectful way and treat us as if have amnesia or something and forgot how did our ancestors felt, we have nothing to speak of.

Now, other Macedonians might have had ancestors that identified as Bulgarians in the past and that is perfectly fine. I even had ancestors that identified as Greeks
The town they hail from, although in the borders of today North Macedonia, was heavily Grekophille in the past and most of the people were Greek patriarchists, and attending Greek schools. The Exarchists never got a strong foothold there.
