Not the same quality oil, we need to treat it with refining plants. Arabs don't need to treat their oil.

Carmen I don't think you understand what the "sanctions" are. And the Venezuelan government, at gun point, confiscated American and European companies and their money in Venezuela.

Travel bans, prohibitions on dealing with certain individuals and companies.

But in terms of quantity, doesn't Venezuela rival if not possibly even exceed Saudi Arabia?

Yeah, but these sanctions aren't crippling the elite of the country nor does Trump and his goons even care about the consequences for the people of Venezuela. Politics is a very messy business really, thus you need to do whatever it takes to stay in top over others like the US for example. 73% of all the dictators of the world are directly supported by the US which the idea that Americans bomb other countries for "muh freedom and democracy" is nothing more than a farce for their real objectives and goals in the world. It's also very beneficial for Israel to have many nations to being subservient to the US which in turn is subservient to them, and Benjamin Netanyahu once bragged on how easy America is moved back in 2001:

OK, but isn't some of the extra cost in doing that mitigated by the shorter distance and thus lower travel costs between Venezuela and the US compared to the Arabian Peninsula?
