Looks 22-30% Germanic. However, this is a balancing act, or best fit, from the algorithm - it doesn't make it right.

Yup, that was what I was implying with the 'balancing act'. Obviously my Hungarian side is not 22% Norwegian, and I don't have a grandparent from Montenegro..

Or are they mostly Slavs? Or a bit of both? It seems Prague seems rather Slavic, but then you have other areas where they are more resonant of the German/Austrian peoples. Also what about the Czechs?

Based on the genetic results I've seen my guess is hungarians are on avarage about 1/2 slavic, 1/4 germanic and 1/4 native balkanite + some % proto-hungarian.... but hard to say, there's a lot of regional and individual variance.

what is the Germanic influence range from the most south shifted Hungarian to the most north shifted? i was wondering

Northern shift doesn't necessarily equal to german admixture. I'm one of the genetically more northern hungarians and it's possible I don't have any german in me at all. German settlers in Hungary were (mostly) southern germans, not very northern population, more central/western euro.
