Nato wouldn't get involved since Turkey is an aggressor not to mention Turkey isn't on great terms with Nato at the moment. The propaganda is just a mask over the real situation. Most Americans could give a shit about Nato, the only real determining factor is the Kurds and Balkans, I think Bosnia would sit out and Greece and Macedonia would be more than happy to get some land; I think the CIA would see it as a positive if they could keep the Russians bogged down which they would we be from the Arab allies of the Turks.

The Baltic nations have no interest in the black sea, they would probably see it as a reason to go on alert but over time they wouldn't care. If Russia took north western Turkey it would mean Russia is tied up in the region, they know Russia wouldn't risk a war of aggression on more loyal Nato allies.
