Well in fairness, I'd still regard you as less truly authoritarian than e.g. Smeagol or CV (though I am not sure where they stand on economic issues, which they seldom if ever really discuss at all).

It is a very common misconception that Liberals and Leftists are the same thing, especially perpetuated by Nationalists. They conveniently lump the Left and Liberals together, because both ideologies share common anti-fascist values, but economically they are as far apart as anything. Actually Liberals are on the same Right-wing position as Conservatives are when it comes to believing in unchecked free markets, praising Capitalism as the sole solution for market economy.

Yes you are absolutely right. This misconception has been plagued by liberal candidates being overshadowed by overly progressive ones. At least this is the case for the United States. I haven’t kept up with politics much outside of my country anymore, it gives me a headache.
