Mortimer as most of users don't know never correctly my ancestry, it's not surprising cause it's confusing
Yeah my mother is Hungarian from Slovakia, so this might lead to missunderstanding, this part of family barely spoke any Slovak language, only new generation starting with my mother and my uncle XD They come from southern region just one village from HU border to city Balassagyarmat.

Can you speak hungarian fluently or just a little bit?

I used to live there until i was like 7, I could speak only fluent Hungarian, when I moved to Bratislava, I had huge problems with Slovak language, my teacher said my mother should speak with me Slovakian cause, I will never learn it, since then it went very very downhill. Imo if I would stay like 6 months in Budapest I would learn it really good.
