There is a simpler explanation in that MDLP is optimized for Lithuanians my mentally retarded nigga ! Lithuania is in Eastern Europe , hence, the bias or 'shift'.

This is the G25 plot for example.

Just looking at different individual results, my own extrapolations is all.

Can you explain further? Like what for example? (I'm just interested in what you mean).

I'm mentally retarded for not having outside trivia on who the calc was optimized for? Okay, Dutchman.

Here's a comparison between a singular Irish kit and the average Irish G25 sample, using the model I made for West Eurasians (I understand its not precise but it gives you a sense of which is more north or south).

    Irish1
    Distance: 3.7778% / 0.03777813
    92.6 Northwest_European:Norwegian
    3.8 Southwest_European:Spanish_Castilla_Y_Leon
    3.6 Northwest_Europeanutch

    Irish_Average
    Distance: 1.1273% / 0.01127273
    67.2 Northwest_European:Icelandic
    15.6 Northwest_European:French_Paris
    13.0 Northwest_European:Norwegian
    2.0 South_European:Italian_Lombardy
    1.6 Southwest_European:Spanish_Aragon
    0.6 Near_East:Turkish_South

I don't mean to imply Irish have some partial Gallo-Roman heritage or anything, just that I had been given the impression most had "French-like" admixture already present in them. I of course could be wrong but it was just the impression I got. I don't expect any run of the mill Irish to come away with a quarter Greek or anything but Irish dna is an interesting topic to me.

I would think that Irish have some French-like admixture possibly some Celtic related ancestry and Norman. Irish though on Gedmatch calculators or G25 don't overlap with French generally. English appear to have more overlap with the French but this is not surprising looking at geographic closeness. Also I think Southern English will have more input from France genetically when more studies come out. You can see this with Cornish people using G25. Irish being a bit more isolated have retained more Bell Beaker genetics. I think Irish have retained more Bell Beaker genetics than any other European population most likely due to their more peripheral location in Europe

What is your K15 PCA by any chance? I get a hefty amount of Irish and Scandinavian myself; with my 23andme kit I get 269 by 175, roughly around here, almost halfway between Brittany and Loire (which is why seeing Serbs made me so confused). Cornwall is my closest population on G25.

I used to have one of those and there was some plots posted on here but I can't find any right now. I plotted with Dutch.

Using G25 this is one of the closest results I can get.

    Target: Grace_unscaled
    Distance: 0.3969% / 0.00396876
    42.6 Irish
    26.2 Dutch
    12.8 Scottish
    9.4 Norwegian
    9.0 Icelandic

I don't think it is actually ancestry but just what my genetics are closest to. The unknowns are whether it is all down to Bell Beaker ancestry or there is actually admixture from some of these populations. I do think all Irish and British populations have admixture from each other and I most likely have some Scots ancestry somewhere down the track. Icelandic is a population that is derived from Scandinavians and Gaels so these island populations are not really a source of ancestry. It is just showing how Irish are just a Northwestern population genetically.
