    Default Yugoslavian Identity?

I am reading a lot of Balkan stuff through this forum and now I am curious

As far as I know Yugoslavia was abolished in 1992, then it is common those who grew up as Croatian, Serbian, etc see themselves as Croatians or Serbians (people born during 1985 and so on), probably 90% Balkans users here
were born after 80s or 90s

So my question is what about old people? They see themselves as Yugos yet?

Most people never adopted Yugoslav identity, and you can see that on Cansuses during communism. It was popular only among some communist officials and people of mixed ethnicity, especially in Bosnia.

Some naive Serbs were brainwashed and considered themselves as Yugoslavs, but vast majority considered themselves Serbs first and foremost.
I am talking about Serbs from todays Croatia.

I feel like Yugoslav even up to this day. The country had potential, but you can't do much when you're surrounded by idiots
