Why don't French people embrace their Gallic/Celtic heritage more?

What do average French people consider or identify with most as the beginning of their nation, 1. Ancient Celtic Gaul, 2. Roman Gaul, 3. Medieval Francia/France, or 4. the French Revolution?

But this is not mass emigration from another continent. We have a couple of Canadians and Americans in the Kazakh hockey team but these are isolated cases. About Russia - the Buryats, Chuvash and many others people of the Russian Federation are the indigenous peoples of Russia. For me it’s different situation. I ask about France in general and not just about naturalized, non-ethnic players in sports teams.

Yeah there are many French people that have enough of that, at the same time many leftards as well.

Lot of French people do embrace their "Gallic/Celtic" heritage actually, some French like to describe themselves as "Gauls" (= Gaulois in french) especially in rural areas, with the Yellow Jackets, at the beginning you've seen that term. It's also used by those who live in the banlieues (peripherical areas with mostly immigrants) to talk about French people.

For the beginning of the nation, it seems that a substantial proportion of the population (if not the majority) identify this beginning to the Revolution (and strongly advocates Revolution values), then others will more put the beginning of the French nation to the "creation" of French monarchy (6th century) which is correct historically in my opinion.
