Personally I think that is stolen land which is controlled by USA and NATO because of large natural resouces in Kosovo (500-1000 billions of dollars estimated value), once they take everything they will go and I hope Serbia will regain land where Serbian nation started (in Middle Ages).

I think strategic recourses are not the main reason, is more about strategical location, and keeping out a possible Russian influence in the region.

Rudyard Kipling called this, Great Game.

    Thanks.

Yes, a lot of people in Serbia are pro EU (I would say about half - especially younger population, personally I am against it) but I think in Serbia none is pro NATO (mostly because of Kosovo and bombing in 1999).
Don't trust to fucking mainstream media, they claim many years that support to fucking EU in Serbia is about 50%. Mainstream media are the biggest liars in Serbia, even bigger than Vučić and his criminal regime.
In reality support to EU is less than 40% if condition for joining is not recognition of Kosovo. If condition is recognition of Kosovo than support for joining to EU is very low (similar as for joining to NATO 10% maximum).

Dahije were Janissary leaders, outlawes from sultan and usurpers of power in Sanjak of Smederevo. They were Muslim Serbs, except Mula Jusuf who was Muslim Albanian https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dahije

Kučuk-Alija was from bey family Đevrlić from Rudnik in central Serbia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kučuk-Alija
Members of this family in 19th century moved to Bosnia as many Muslims from Serbia and today they live in Brčko in northern Bosnia (they are declared Bosniaks).
