Well I think it is my double eyelids and larger forehead that give me a pseudo cantonese look. I inherited both these traits from my mom and I think she looks textbook north sinid. Double eyelids exist in North Sinids but at lesser frequency than Southerners. I have monolids and double eyelids in my northern chinese family. "Cantonese" looking people have certain facial features that I do not have such as a wider nose, less flat occiput, bushier eyebrows, and deeper set eyes. Most of my classmates are cantonese and they have some of the cantonese traits that I have listed.

Your conclusions tend to be correct, you are a combination of northern and southern Sinid. I just can say I believe physical anthropology still haven't a well developed nomenclature to classify far eastern phenotypes, then it will depend of people interested in work on it.

That seems pretty accurate. Except, if I'm being picky, what makes you 'Chinese-shifted' is your longer or maybe "thinner" face. You have pronounced cheekbones but they aren't as "wide" as in Tungid-Korean phenotypes. Still, you'd pass!

Well, i am not sugesting anything against anyone but it is better to stick together with classifiers that use the logic, instead of the ones that use anecdotal evidence or even outdated old anthropologist's words as something unquestionable.

If i remember correctly, you have hight parietal, with is common both more among Manchu and Cantonese than Tungids.
You can have some tungid influence, but some other phenotype( which myself is not quite able to determine) predominates.
Overall i think you look like a mix of Nothern China and southern China/Hong Kong overall. What do you think about it?
I'd say' you can also pass as a pseudo-predominantly yakonin, except for the bigger cheekbones, which doesn't seen to be si common among Japanese.
