After collecting samples of the genome in China, medical researchers first conclusively demonstrated that the virus did not originate at the seafood market but had multiple unidentified sources, after which it was exposed to the seafood market from where it spread everywhere. (1) (2) (3)

According to the Global Times:

A new study by Chinese researchers indicates the novel coronavirus may have begun human-to-human transmission in late November from a place other than the Huanan seafood market in Wuhan.

The study published on ChinaXiv, a Chinese open repository for scientific researchers, reveals the new coronavirus was introduced to the seafood market from another location(s), and then spread rapidly from the market due to the large number of close contacts. The findings were the result of analyses of the genome data, sources of infection, and the route of spread of variations of the novel coronavirus collected throughout China.

The study believes that patient(s) zero transmitted the virus to workers or sellers at the Huanan seafood market, the crowded market easily facilitating further transmission of the virus to buyers, which caused a wider spread in early December 2019. Chinese medical authorities – and "intelligence agencies" – then conducted a rapid and wide-ranging search for the origin of the virus, collecting nearly 100 samples of the genome from 12 different countries on 4 continents, identifying all the varieties and mutations. During this research, they determined the virus outbreak had begun much earlier, probably in November, shortly after the Wuhan Military Games.

They then came to the same independent conclusions as the Japanese researchers – that the virus did not begin in China but was introduced there from the outside.

China's top respiratory specialist Zhong Nanshan said on January 27

"Though the COVID-19 was first discovered in China, it does not mean that it originated from China"

"But that is Chinese for "it originated someplace else, in another country". (4)

This of course raises questions as to the actual location of origin. If the authorities pursued their analysis through 100 genome samples from 12 countries, they must have had a compelling reason to be searching for the original source outside China. This would explain why there was such difficulty in locating and identifying a 'patient zero'.

In February of 2020, the Japanese Asahi news report (print and TV) claimed the coronavirus originated in the US, not in China, and that some (or many) of the 14,000 American deaths attributed to influenza may have in fact have resulted from the coronavirus. (5)

A report from a Japanese TV station disclosing a suspicion that some of those Americans may have unknowningly contracted the coronavirus has gone viral on Chinese social media, stoking fears and speculations in China that the novel coronavirus may have originated in the US.

The report, by TV Asahi Corporation of Japan, suggested that the US government may have failed to grasp how rampant the virus has gone on US soil.

However, it is unknown whether Americans who have already died of the influenza had contracted the coronavirus, as reported by TV Asahi.

The man in the video is a top virologist and pharmacologist who performed a long and detailed search for the source of the virus. He spends the first part of the video explaining the various haplotypes (varieties, if you will), and explains how they are related to each other, how one must have come before another, and how one type derived from another. He explains this is merely elementary science and nothing to do with geopolitical issues, describing how, just as with numbers in order, 3 must always follow 2.



One of his main points is that the type infecting Taiwan exists only in Australia and the US and, since Taiwan was not infected by Australians, the infection in Taiwan could have come only from the US.

The basic logic is that the geographical location with the greatest diversity of virus strains must be the original source because a single strain cannot emerge from nothing. He demonstrated that only the US has all the five known strains of the virus (while Wuhan and most of China have only one, as do Taiwan and South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, Singapore, and England, Belgium and Germany), constituting a thesis that the haplotypes in other nations may have originated in the US.

The virologist further stated that the US has recently had more than 200 "pulmonary fibrosis" cases that resulted in death due to patients' inability to breathe, but whose conditions and symptoms could not be explained by pulmonary fibrosis. He said he wrote articles informing the US health authorities to consider seriously those deaths as resulting from the coronavirus, but they responded by blaming the deaths on e-cigarettes, then silenced further discussion. ...

The Taiwanese doctor then stated the virus outbreak began earlier than assumed, saying, "We must look to September of 2019".

He stated the case in September of 2019 where some Japanese traveled to Hawaii and returned home infected, people who had never been to China. This was two months prior to the infections in China and just after the CDC suddenly and totally shut down the Fort Detrick bio-weapons lab claiming the facilities were insufficient to prevent loss of pathogens. He said he personally investigated those cases very carefully (as did the Japanese virologists who came to the same conclusion). This might indicate the coronavirus had already spread in the US but where the symptoms were being officially attributed to other diseases, and thus possibly masked.

The prominent Chinese news website Huanqiu related one case in the US where a woman's relative was told by physicians he died of the flu, but where the death certificate listed the coronavirus as the cause of death. On February 26, ABC News affiliate KJCT8 News Network reported that a woman recently told the media that her sister died on from coronavirus infection. Montrose, Colorado resident Almeta Stone said, "They (the medical staff) kept us informed that it was the flu, and when I got the death certificate, there was a coronavirus in the cause of death." In the past two years (during the trade war) China has suffered several pandemics:

- February 15, 2018: H7N4 bird flu. Sickened at least 1,600 people in China and killed more than 600. Many chickens killed. China needs to purchase US poultry products.

- August, 2018: outbreak of African swine flu. Same strain as Russia, from Georgia. Millions of pigs killed. China needs to purchase US pork products.
- May 24, 2019: massive infestation of armyworms in 14 province-level regions in China, which destroy most food crops. Quickly spread to more than 8,500 hectares of China's grain production. They produce astonishing numbers of eggs. China needs to purchase US agricultural products – corn, soybeans.
- December, 2019: Coronavirus appearance puts China's economy on hold.
- January, 2020: China is hit by a "highly pathogenic" strain of bird flu in Hunan province. Many chickens died, many others killed. China needs to purchase US poultry products.

The two sources I referred to in the first post of this thread said that part of the plan for WW3 was to attack China with a race-specific bioweapon. Neither said that the bioweapon alone would be responsible for global depopulation.

What we stumbled across -- it was all by accident, by the way -- was the fact that the military personnel were being given micro-organisms that had a piece of the HIV gene. And this is why some of the soldiers that came back for false positive for HIV virus -- they didn't have the HIV virus, they had a part of the envelope gene that was inserted into the mycoplasma. So there were a lot of false positives among military personnel. And families were really upset about this. But they didn't have AIDS. They were showing no signs and symptoms of AIDS. So we think that part of the HIV genome was placed in the mycoplasma to make it more pathogenic.

Now here's what we found. And by the way, I haven't presented this before. We had all this data for years, but we were kinda hesitant to publish it. In fact, we were threatened that if we published it, they'd kill us, and so on. So I'm showing this publicly for the first time. The Gulf War illness patients, we found that 60% of the mycoplasma-positive patients had the HIV-1 envelope sequences. So we didn't find it in every patient, every Gulf War illness patient that was positive for mycoplasma. And I don't know the reason for that, except that they were probably testing a number of different things with the vaccines, so may have been some other sequences that we don't know about. To make HIV virus, you have to have all these genes: gag, pol, env, rev, and so on. Otherwise you can't make an intact virus, it's defective. So we knew that they didn't have HIV. In fact they had no evidence that they had HIV. They only had a small part of not even the complete envelope gene. But probably enough of it to produce the complete gp120 complex.

Now in the Huntsville mystery disease patients -- it was called a mystery disease because they didn't know what it was -- from the 1980s, now we found a completely different scenario. We found some that had the envelope gene, some that had another gene, the pol gene, the polymerase gene, some that had the rev gene. So it looked like they were doing a lot of experiments in the prison system -- putting in different genes, checking to see how pathogenic they were and so on -- in the people in the prison system.

It is also frightening to learn that the Ebola outbreaks all occurred in close proximity to several of these well-known (and top-secret) US bio-weapons labs in Africa.

There were great fears a few years ago when American scientists recreated the Spanish flu virus that killed around 50 million people in 1918. They spent nine years on this effort before succeeding, and now large quantities of this virus are stored in a high-security government laboratory in Atlanta, Georgia. More recently, scientists have created a mutated super-strain of the deadly H5N1 bird flu virus that is directly transmissible among humans and would have at least a 50% kill rate, spawning fears in 2005 of a global pandemic that might kill hundreds of millions.

In late 2013, more than 50 of the world's most eminent scientists severely criticised the research Ron Fouchier and colleagues at the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam, who have been developing mutant varieties of the H5N1 bird-flu virus that are far more dangerous to humans. The scientists wrote that the research was designed to make the virus fully transmissible between humans, and clearly had a dual civil-military function. This engineered flu could kill half the world's population, and not by accident. The US military funded this research with more than $400 million.

## The Korean War

During and after the Korean War, China produced considerable evidence that the US military was employing biological pathogens against both the Chinese and the North Koreans. More than 25 US POWs supported Chinese claims – and provided further, and very detailed, corroborating evidence of anthrax, various insects such as mosquitoes and fleas carrying Yellow Fever, and even propaganda leaflets infected with cholera, over the entire North-East of China and virtually all of North Korea. The US government immediately filed charges of sedition against the soldiers who told their stories of these illegal activities, applying enormous pressure to silence them, even threatening defending lawyers with unspecified retribution. As a final desperate attempt to silence these former POWs, the US military relied on the CIA to subject them to extensive treatments with a newly-discovered and dangerous drug called Metrazol, in attempts to totally erase all memories of their activities in Korea, apparently destroying the mens' minds in the process.

Global Research published an article on September 07, 2015 by David Swanson which provided some detail on American attempts to flood North Korea with the Bubonic Plague, beginning with the statement, "This happened some 63 years ago, but as the U.S. government has never stopped lying about it, and it's generally known only outside the United States, I'm going to treat it as news."

Curtis LeMay not only conducted his sincere attempts to exterminate the entire civilian population of North Korea by bombing virtually every house in the country, but there is now a huge and still emerging volume of indisputable evidence the Americans dropped on both North Korea and China insects and materials carrying anthrax, cholera, encephalitis, and bubonic plague. Then on September 10, 2012, the Los Angeles Times ran an article discussing the topic of doctors "still trying to diagnose mysteries of the Hantavirus" more than 20 years after this deadly pathogen was first identified in the US in 1993. (https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-...911-story.html) In this case, the virus appeared to attack only native Indians – the infections concentrated in a four-state area – who developed sudden respiratory problems and were often dead within hours. Most victims reported "not feeling well" one day, and were dead the next, from what appeared as a very mysterious pathogen with an undeterminable source. But then, "a lucky clue" arose from a television viewer, a physician who stated this illness seemed very similar to that caused by a virus he had observed the US military using in Korea in the 1950s. The virus attracted attention because some American troops were accidentally exposed to it in Korea, most of whom died very suddenly. Two facts that were eliminated from the public reports of the time: (1) the virus attacked North Koreans and Chinese in greater numbers, and (2) this Hantavirus was one item in the treasure trove of biological weapons the Americans inherited from Dr. Ishii and his Unit 731. The Japanese were light-years ahead of the Americans and the Western Allies in virus research and had isolated the lethal Hantavirus by the late 1930s, with much evidence it was used against China by the Japanese and later against both China and North Korea by the Americans. It seems that some of this weaponised material escaped containment and exposed American and South Korean soldiers to their own handiwork.

## US Biowarfare on Cuba

One of the commonly-known (outside the US) biological warfare programs conducted by the US, remarkable for its longevity, is the decades-long offensive attack on Cuba. The US military and CIA conducted so many of these biological assaults that there is a museum in Havana that provides substantial evidence of the many years of biological warfare against this small country. The news was public, but the US media ignored it. In 1981, Fidel Castro blamed an outbreak of dengue fever in Cuba on the CIA. The fever killed 188 people, including 88 children. In 1988, a Cuban exile leader named Eduardo Arocena admitted bringing some germs into Cuba in 1980. Another occasion involved an outbreak of thrips palmi, an insect that kills potato crops, palm trees and other vegetation. Thrips first showed up in Cuba on December 12, 1996, following low-level flights over the island by US government spray planes. The US was able to quash a United Nations investigation of the incident."

This was only a small part of America's biological aggression against Cuba. In 1979, the Washington Post published reports on a long-standing American bio-warfare program against Cuban agriculture that had existed at least since 1962, by the CIA's biological warfare section. And in 1980, the US believed it had discovered a biological agent that would target ethnic Russians, and sent a ship from Florida to Cuba on a mission to "carry some germs to Cuba to be used against the Soviets". And as recently as 1996 and 1997, the Cuban government was again accusing the US of engaging in biological warfare by spraying Cuban crops with biological pathogens during illegal "reconnaissance flights". It was also definitively reported that during the Cuban missile crisis, large numbers of chemical and biological weapons were loaded on American military aircraft in preparation for use on Cuba.

American bio-warfare efforts have also been launched on at least several other nations in Central and South America, involving a number of viral pathogens, cancers and chemicals. In his article, St. Clair referred to an epidemic of dengue fever that erupted in Managua, Nicaragua, where about 50,000 people became seriously ill and many died. The attack occurred during the CIA's war against the Sandinista government, where the outbreak immediately followed a series of low-level so-called "reconnaissance flights" conducted by the Americans over Managua.

It has also been reliably reported by several sources that the US military has used Haiti as a kind of "open season" biological lab, exposing the local population to almost everything imaginable, with the US media keeping a very tight lid on information leakage. Even more reprehensible was the treatment awarded to those Haitians who made the serious mistake of becoming "boat people", i.e. escaping their American pathology lab by emigrating in small boats to the US. The US government deported most to Puerto Rico to be used as guinea pigs and lab rats, where they would be out of view of Congress and the media and, according to reports, having contained them in concentration camps to inflict upon them whatever "scientific tests" they avoided at home. In one case as recently as 1980, hundreds of Haitian men in these detention camps developed full-size female breasts after being injected repeatedly with unknown hormones by US military physicians. The historical record tells us the same was done to the same people in a publicly off-limits military base in Florida.

Along with Cuba, there is the strange case of the more or less simultaneous occurrence of cancers among the leaders of South American countries, coincidentally in each case, the infection of a national leader the US despised and had tried to remove by several other means. We had Hugo Chávez, the President of Venezuela, Argentina's president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, Brazil's president, Dilma Rousseff, Paraguay's Fernando Lugo, and the former Brazilian President, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. A former Brazilian President, speaking of these cancers, said in an interview,

> "It is very hard to explain, even with the law of probabilities, what has been happening to some leaders in Latin America. It's at the very least strange, very strange."

## The Secret WW II US-Japan Bio-Partnership

When Japanese troops invaded North-East China in 1932, Dr. Shiro Ishii began his notorious biological warfare experimentation program in a sector near Harbin disguised as a water-purification unit, then known as Unit 731. He began with various poisonous gases including mustard gas, then used aircraft to distribute cotton and rice husks contaminated with the bubonic plague, in various parts of Central China. His unit collected Chinese resisting the Japanese occupation, using them for unlimited medical atrocities including live vivisection. The New York Times reported one instance of a Japanese physician describing his experience there:

But then finally he stopped. This was all in a day's work for the surgeons, but it really left an impression on me because it was my first time." Ishii would first have his teams infect the victims with anthrax, cholera, typhoid, tetanus, dysentery, syphilis, the bubonic plague and other pathogens, then dissect them while still alive to examine the results, followed by cremation of the evidence. The US military's Surgeon-General's Department estimated that 580,000 Chinese were killed in this manner, with atrocities committed by some of Japan's most distinguished physicians. At the end of the war when it became clear Japan was losing and would have to evacuate China, Ishii ordered all the remaining Chinese in custody to be killed and their bodies burned, then destroyed with explosives the entire Unit 731 compound to hide all traces of his experiments. General Douglas MacArthur, then Commander of the Allied Powers in Japan, made a secret deal with Ishii and the entire staff of Unit 731 to transfer to the US military all records of the biowarfare and vivisections for US military study, in exchange for a complete cover-up of all evidence of the existence of these activities, and a promise of immunity from war-crimes prosecution. Ishii turned over to the US military on one occasion alone more than 10,000 pages of his "research findings", after which the Americans re-wrote Japan's history books, which is why neither the Japanese nor the world know of the massive atrocities committed in China, and which is where the American military gained much of its expertise and know-how in chemical and biological weapons and the methods of human experimentation it would later apply so freely in Korea and Vietnam and to American citizens.

On 6 May 1947, MacArthur wrote to Washington that "additional data, possibly some statements from Ishii probably can be obtained by informing Japanese involved that information will be retained in intelligence channels and will not be employed as 'War Crimes' evidence." Some Japanese were arrested by Soviet forces for their biological crimes against Russians, and tried at the Khabarovsk War Crime Trials in 1949 but, to cover their own tracks, the Americans dismissed all surviving victim testimony and Russia's war-crimes trials of Japanese as "communist propaganda". Not only did the US government and military provide Dr. Ishii and his staff total immunity from prosecution, they imported the entire group to the US, all secretly stationed on US military bases and on the US Army payroll. Ishii was for years a frequent guest lecturer at the US military's bio-warfare school at Fort Detrick, and given a lucrative post as full professor and supervisor of biological research at the University of Maryland until he died decades later. It was only in 1995 that the US military finally admitted it had offered immunity, secret identities, and good jobs with high salaries, to these Japanese scientists and physicians in exchange for their work on biological warfare research and human experimentation. These people were recruited not only by the military, but by the CDC, the US State Department, military intelligence, the CIA, and the US Department of Agriculture, all for work on "secret government projects".

Logistical and Technical Exploration into the Origins of the Wuhan Strain of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

This report is the product of a collaboration between a retired professional scientist with dozens of peer-reviewed publications and 30 years of experience in genomic sequencing and analysis, who worked at the Theoretical Biology Division of the Los Alamos National Laboratory and later helped design several ubiquitous bioinformatic software tools, as well as a former NSA counterterrorism analyst.

Given that this outbreak was said to begin in late December when most bat species in the region are hibernating and the Chinese horseshoe bat's habitat covers an enormous swath of the region containing scores of cities and hundreds of millions people to begin with, the fact that this Wuhan Strain of coronavirus, denoted as COVID-19 emerged in close proximity to the only BSL-4 virology lab in China, now notoriously located in Wuhan, which in turn was staffed with at least two Chinese scientists – Zhengli Shi and Xing-Yi Ge – both virologists who had previously worked at an American lab which already bio-engineered an incredibly virulent strain of bat coronavirus – the accidental release of a bio-engineered virus from Wuhan's virology lab cannot be automatically discounted, especially when the Wuhan Strain's unnatural genomic signals are considered.

– In 2002, Stony Brook first assembled a virus from scratch, building a polio-virus, and providing proof-of-concept for the creation, alteration, and manipulation of viral genomes. Two years prior, a separate team had already built an infectious RNA virus from scratch – choosing to engineer a coronavirus from scratch, and even swapping out its vital spike-protein genes. And a generation earlier, artificially enhancing selection by intentionally infecting countless series of lab animals with different viruses is understood to have created the H1N1 Swine Flu. Its Franken-genome has a mysterious untraceable genetic parentage and a "clear unnatural origin," and H1N1 became the poster-child for a moratorium against gain-of-function research – experimentation that seeks to increase a pathogen's virulence, creating a more effective double-edged sword to counter and learn from. In the case of H1N1, it wasn't a question of if it'd escaped from a research laboratory, only whether it'd been designed as part of a weapons system, or been part of a vaccine trial.

– Tinkering with viral genomes is not anything new, but is not something that has ever been fully embraced by the scientific community at large. About a decade ago, two separate research teams successful tweaked the genome of the H5N1 Bird Flu in just two spots and then passed it through ferrets until it became both airborne and pathogenic to mammals, creating a virus that "could make the deadly 1918 pandemic look like a pesky cold." This involved selecting for a mutation that allowed the virus to access a receptor that's found in ferret lungs, and was alarming enough that the research was urged to be published without revealing the specific methods involved and data collected – however it appears that only the most technical details were left out, and most of the research is freely available.

– By 2015, conducting research that was met with an enormous amount of concern, scientists at UNC had successfully created a "chimeric, SARS-like virus" by altering the viral genome of a Chinese bat coronavirus's spike-protein genes – sequences that code for the spikes that poke out from surface of viruses and allow them to unlock entry into hosts, in this case making the bio-engineered coronavirus incredibly contagious. This research raised eyebrows since it was clearly gain-of-function research, a practice banned in America from 2014 until December 2017 when NIH lifted the ban, specifically to allow research on this sort of virus. Looking at UNC's gain-of-function research on coronavirus spike-proteins, which received its funding just before the ban was implemented and was only allowed to go forward following a special review, a virologist with the Louis Pasteur Institute of Paris warned: "If the [new] virus escaped, nobody could predict the trajectory."

– But then oddly, in late January right as the pandemic was blooming, Dr. Ralph Baric claimed in an interview that people should be more concerned with the seasonal flu – despite having personally overseen the controversial engineering of a hyper-virulent strain of batty coronavirus just a few years back. Immediately discounting the burgeoning outbreak of an unknown coronavirus as a non-event seems particularly troubling for someone who'd trained two Chinese scientists on how to make hyper-virulent coronaviruses, especially when it's hard to imagine that Dr. Baric was unaware his past colleagues were now working at the Wuhan Virology Lab, the epicenter of the outbreak. Highlighting the dissembling absurdity of this statement, based on reporting from Who: the Wuhan Strain COVID-19 appears to be thirty-four times more lethal than the seasonal flu.

– Since its discovery, scientists have been unable to fully determine the zoological origins of COVID-19, it was initially thought to have passed through snakes, but now all that's agreed upon is that it's mostly bat in origin. This inability to derive an exact zoological source is exactly what would be expected if the virus had been artificially engineered to target humans as UNC already has, this doesn't prove an artificial nature – but it is consistent with one. Although there has been speculation that pangolins may have been the missing vector, the only data about the pangolin virome wasn't entered into NCBI's system until late January, and couldn't possibly have been collected any earlier than late September 2019, and doesn't fully answer the vector question anyways. And further research indicated it was "very unlikely" that similarities between their spike-protein genomes of COVID-19 and pangolins, where they share the most similarities, was due to the virus passing through pangolins at all.

– As explained in Nature, COVID-19's Franken-genome combines a cornucopia of distinct genetic markers from each of the three other distinct branches of the coronavirus family tree, but is distinct enough from all of them that it in fact forms its own clade. Along those same lines, a full-genome evolutionary analysis of COVID-19 published in The Lancet concluded, "recombination is probably not the reason for emergence of this virus" since it seems that the Wuhan Strain isn't a mosaic of previously known coronaviruses, but instead draws from distant, discrete parts of the coronavirus family tree – not how these viruses naturally evolve. Because even mixing and matching coronavirus genomes from every known zoological virus, scientists couldn't find any possible combination that would explain those regions of the Wuhan Strain's genome. The Lancet muses that a mysterious animal host could still be out there, however since they've already searched through every known possibility and been unable to find a match, another obvious explanation is that bio-engineering accounts for the inexplicable nucleotide signature of the Wuhan Strain's genome

– Early research found that COVID-19 targets the ACE2 receptor, which seems to be distributed in roughly equal proportions across global populations, indicating that the Wuhan Strain was likely developed as part of a defensive gain-of-function project possibly linked to immunotherapy or vaccinations – never meant to leave the lab, but meant to serve as a Red Team to fight back against, not as an offensive weapon targeting one specific global population. But counter-intuitively, researchers have pointed out that the most critical sections of the COVID-19's protein-spike genome don't match the previously reported pattern that would be expected for optimal binding to the specific ACE2 receptors found only in humans and ferrets, which indicates that these particular segments wouldn't have been directly genetically engineered to increase virulence.

– And yet this is exactly what researchers looking for a "safe" vaccine candidate would engineer, and doesn't rule out a scenario where the virus was passed through a series of ferrets. The research team in fact notes that its spike "appears to be the result of selection on human or human-like ACE2 permitting another optimal binding solution to arise," failing to directly mention that the only other human-like receptors are found in ferrets – which have frequently been used for years in vaccine trials for viruses with this sort of protein-spike, and is exactly how the H5N1 Bird Flu virus was altered to make it airborne. And so the Wuhan Strain's unique affinity for the human ACE2 receptor, which a pre-print reports to be 10 to 20 times greater than SARS, may be the exact type of vaccine-related accident that led to the moratorium on gain-of-function research in the first place and caused scientists to unsuccessfully call for the research around H5N1 to be partially sealed-off.

– The Wuhan Strain of coronavirus, COVID-19, appears to be transmissible even before its host shows any symptoms at all, making temperature-scanning at airports ineffective since hosts appear to be contagious for about a week before any symptoms emerge. This is in stark contrast with SARS, whose hosts weren't contagious until they were symptomatic, allowing for its relatively quick containment. This chart is not from a peer-reviewed source but was claims to capture the comparative rates of infections between recent outbreaks. A recent pre-print now gives COVID-19 a rating of R4, meaning each host passes the virus on to four new victims, a rate significantly higher than any past global viral outbreak.

– The successful end results of the aforementioned bat coronavirus bio-engineering research at UNC that was critiqued for being too risky in 2015, was published the following year and described the successful bio-engineering of a highly-virulent coronavirus derived from bats which was achieved by tinkering with its spike-protein genes. In this paper, researcher #8 is listed as one "Zheng-li Shi" who's listed as being attached to the "Key Laboratory of Special Pathogens and Biosafety, Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan, China."

– Zhengli Shi seems to have returned to Wuhan at some point since 2016, specifically to the Wuhan Institute of Virology's Disease Engineering Technical Research Center, since she then appears in this September 2019 paper on the human behaviors most likely to lead to bat-borne coronavirus exposure in southern China, and also in the paper claiming that this coronavirus was bat in origin, which was peculiarly submitted in coordination with the announcement of the outbreak. Very, very peculiarly. She also appears in this pending preprint on the current outbreak of COVID-19, just a small sample of the dozens of coronavirus-related papers she's published over a three decade career.

– Not only does Zhengli Shi provide a direct chain of expertise tying the already successful bio-engineering of a virulent bat-based coronavirus at UNC directly to the BSL-4 virology lab in Wuhan, but back in January 2014 she'd received a $665,000 grant from NIH for a study titled The Ecology of Bat Coronaviruses and the Risk of Future Coronavirus Emergence (NIAID R01 AI1 10964) as well as $559,500 more from USAID for a study titled Emerging Pandemic Threats PREDICT_2China (Project No. AID-OAA-A-14-00102). Beyond this American funding specifically into viral diseases zoonotically transferring from animals to humans which would slipped in just before the ban, over the years she's also received around $3 million in grants to study these zoonotic viruses from China and other countries, and has served on the editorial board of several virological research magazines. More of her research into the intersection of coronaviruses like the Wuhan Strain and their epidemic potential was funded by the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Threat Reduction Agency, and U.S. Biological Defense Research Directorate of the Naval Medical Research Center.

– Another Chinese virologist, Xing-Yi Ge, appears as an author on the 2016 UNC paper and is also attached to the lab in Wuhan. Previously in 2013, he'd successfully isolated a SARS-like coronavirus from bats which targets the ACE2 receptor, just like our present virus, the Wuhan Coronavirus COVID-19 uses. And it turns out that sections of the Wuhan Strain's ACE2 receptor's genes are unique: they're almost identical to SARS's spike-protein genes – despite the fact that almost none of the two coronavirus's genomes are similar anywhere else at all. Beyond that, although the Wuhan Strain's spike-protein genome differs from SARS in four out of the five most important genomic spots that determine binding to the ACE2 receptor, they surprisingly don't effect the protein-spike's shape. And in an even bigger coincidence, these four spots also code for the outside region of the spike that allows entry into cells, and do not effect it either – allowing the Wuhan Strain to still use the ACE2 receptor to unlock cells while possibly gaining additional capabilities. The odds that this concordance was bio-engineered into the virus are several orders of magnitude more likely than for this to randomly have evolved in nature, and is exactly the sort of process used to make the H5N1 Bird Flu airborne and highly pathogenic.

– Numerous videos purportedly from inside hospitals in Wuhan depict a crisis that is far greater than the numbers released by China to date. There is widespread but unverified online reporting that Wuhan crematoriums have been running 24/7, which is consistent with a recent peer-reviewed study that claims that as of January 25, Wuhan had over 75,000 infections – when the official number was just 761. Chinese language social media also reflects a sense of panic and desperation that is highly discordant with the numbers being released by the Chinese government. Who, notably, are refusing any direct assistance from the American CDC. (Evidence that China is vastly downplaying this pandemic's severity: Example 1. Example 2. Example 3. Example 4. Example 5. Example 6.)

– Some of the dystopian carnage creeping across China may be due to the fact that much of China's population may have already been exposed to coronavirus infection via SARS or other less notorious strains, which would allow the Wuhan Stain COVID-19 to use antibody-dependent enhancement to much more efficiently enter into cells, and then become much more virulent since this enhancement hijacks the body's preexisting immune response to coronavirus infections and allows easier entry. However whether or not people have been exposed to a coronavirus infection before, once it's been circulating in a population for long enough the Wuhan Strain may be able to reinfect its own past hosts and use this molecular hijacking on antibodies left from its own previous infection to become far more virulent, regardless of whether or not someone has been exposed to other coronaviruses before COVID-19. And early reporting from Chinese doctors indicates that re-infections of the Wuhan Strain are far more lethal than the first.

– Additionally, although another since-retracted pre-print noted several very short genomic sequences in COVID-19's spike-protein gene that look far more similar to sequences found in HIV than to other coronaviruses – critics quickly pointed out that the shared homology didn't reach statistical significance. However a closer look at the data reveals that there were a few small shared genomic segments that, despite being physically separated from each other along each strand of DNA, all worked together to code for the Wuhan Strain's protein-spike's crucial receptor binding site. Something that is highly unlikely to have happened by chance. And despite most of its protein-spike being shared with SARS, these substituted segments weren't shared at all – nor were they found in any other coronavirus. One possible but likely reason for these HIV-like segments is that they were meant to be epitopes, or molecular flags meant to mark intruders for a vaccine to target. It is mathematically possible for this to happen in nature – but only in a ten-thousand bats chained to ten-thousand Petri dishes and given until infinity sense. Alternatively, it could also be produced by infecting a room full of ferrets with a bespoke coronavirus vaccine and sifting through the wreckage for your genomic needle.

– Critics have brushed off the Wuhan Strain's shared homology with HIV as statistically insignificant, however clinical reporting indicates that the Wuhan Strain may be using this shared HIV homology to attack CD4 immune cells just like HIV does, as an unusually high percentage of patients are showing low white blood cell counts, especially the sickest ones. This pathogenicity may well be due to the unique HIV-live genomics of the Wuhan Strain, as one white-paper by LSU's professor emeritus of Microbiology, Immunology, and Parasitology who's also a Harvard-educated virologist with a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics notes: "This is the first description of a possible immunosuppressive domain in coronaviruses... The three key [mutations] common to the known immunosuppressive domains are also in common with the sequence from [the spike-protein]. While coronaviruses are not known for general immunosuppression of the style shown by HIV-1, this does not rule out immunosuppression at the site of active infection in the lung, which would prolong and potentially worsen infection at that site." And early research has indicated that this unique region may make COVID-19 up to 1,000 times more likely to bind to human cells than SARS.

– Even more troubling, a peer-reviewed study noted that one particular part of the Wuhan Strain's spike-protein genome also wasn't found in any of its relatives, "and may provide a gain-of-function to [COVID-19] for efficient spreading in the human population." And according to that paper, this particular type of furin cleavage site makes similar viruses both more pathogenic and more neurotoxic.

– Evidence for the Wuhan Strain's neurotoxicity arrived in late February, in a published paper which notes that "the most characteristic symptom of COVID-19 patients is respiratory distress, and most of the patients admitted to the intensive care could not breathe spontaneously." Combined with the observation that "some COVID-19 patients also showed neurologic signs such as headache, nausea and vomiting," this paper asserts that since SARS was found heavily concentrated in the brainstems of its autopsied victims, COVID-19 is also probably crossing the blood-brain barrier and killing its victims not just via pneumonia, but also by causing neurological respiratory failure.

– And it should be noted that SARS – much ballyhooed as a close relative to the Wuhan Strain – didn't notable effect white blood cell counts. Additionally, clinical treatment guides published online in late January by established Chinese medical sources note the progressive reduction of white blood cells, as well as the importance of monitoring this decline. And reporting from Thailand indicates that adding a cocktail of two different anti-HIV drugs to the typical flu treatment regime seemed to effectively knock back the Wuhan Strain. Additionally, one of the only autopsies performed outside of China to date found that the deceased had a severely depleted white blood cell count. These lowered counts may come from this shared similarity with HIV, or it could also be the result of antibody-dependent enhancement as well, since this phenomenon primarily targets white blood cells for its hijackings and may help explain why consecutive infections are so lethal.

– In a highly concerning turn, scientists have noted that the Wuhan Strain can have a "striking" short term rate of mutation which doesn't indicate an artificial origin but captures the unique threat posed by this coronavirus regardless of its providence, since a faster mutation rates makes it more likely this virus can dodge testing and neutralize vaccines. Something there is already early evidence for. Further concerning are reports out of China that even patients who appear cured still harbor COVID-19 in their system, and although the full implications of this are not yet known – none of them are good.

– One of the worst possible scenarios for COVID-19's mutation rate would be if it falls into the Goldilocks range that would allow it to form mutant viral swarms: too many mutations will cause a virus to eventually implode, not enough allows host immune systems to catch-up, but if things are just right mutant swarms can form and spread across host populations, burrowing into host nervous systems and causing permanent neurological damage. Mutant swarms form when a virus produces mutationally-damaged copies of itself inside a host, some of which aren't infectious but find their way into the nervous system where they burrow in causing damage, and others that combine with complimentary broken copies inside host cells to produce working infectious copies of the virus. So a host can not only become crippled with neurological issues, but also still be producing infectious copies of the virus. And it seems as if COVID-19 has many characteristics that indicate the potential to form mutant swarms: the "striking" mutation rate mentioned above and the fact a second widespread mutated strain seems to have already emerged in Washington State with many other isolated strains reported elsewhere, crossing between species is another factor and a dog in Hong Kong appears to have tested positive, the fact that the Wuhan Strain can infect not only the respiratory tract but feces as well – multi-organ involvement is an important contributor to viral swarms, and finally the markedly viral load rate of COVID-19 compared to SARS – SARS produced a viral load several times lower which decreased over time, while COVID-19 produces a "very high" viral load that appears to increase over time and can peak several orders of magnitude higher than SARS was measured to reach. And alarming evidence that this phenomenon is occurring emerged from a Chinese pre-print which noted that over one-third of the roughly 200 patients studied has some neurological symptoms, with nearly half of the most severe patients exhibiting neurological issues.

– Another exceptional trait of the Wuhan Strain COVID-19 is that not only does it form its own clade, it's calculated to have diverged from SARS and its other sister coronaviruses some 260 years ago. And yet in all that time, while every other branch of the coronavirus tree was busy branching-off into countless variants, if it emerged naturally, COVID-19 somehow spent a quarter of a millennium as the lone known example of its clade, somehow not mutating into related lineages in all that time. Another simpler explanation is that this apparent hereditary distance and genetic uniqueness is the just the result of being altered in a lab. And although two distinct strains of COVID-19 have been identified, there's no reason to believe this mutational differentiation happened before contact with humans in December of 2019. Additionally, when neutral sites, the specific points in the genome which most reliably show evolutionary change, were examined: COVID-19 looks even more evolutionarily distant from any of its possible relatives.

– Also giving credence to the idea that the Wuhan Strain was bio-engineered is the existence of a patent application registered to a scientist from Wuhan that looks to modulate a coronavirus' spike-protein genes – the precise region altered by Zhengli Shi at UNC to make a hyper-virulent strain of coronavirus, and whose alteration and adaptation would explain the Wuhan Strain's unusual behavior as discussed above.

– And curiously, the head of Harvard's Chemistry Department, Dr. Charles Lieber, was arrested in the midst of this outbreak on charges that he'd been accepting millions of dollars in bribes from the Chinese government. According to his charging documents, Dr. Lieber first went to the Wuhan University of Technology (WUT), in November 2011 to participate in a nanotechnology forum, which was when he was recruited into a bribery scheme that would net him several million dollars to "establish a research lab and conduct research at WUT," which became known as "Joint Nano Key Laboratory," as well as mentor and advocate for graduate students. By 2015, Dr. Lieber appeared to be fairly intimately involved with what seemed to begin as simply a nanotechnology lab, but now had shifted to involve biology as well, since he described visiting the lab multiple times per year "as we try to build up the nano-bio part of the lab." Whether or not this nano-bio part of the Nano Key Laboratory is related to Wuhan's BSL-4 virology lab isn't clear, however if the Wuhan Strain was bio-engineered, technology classified as "nano-bio" would've almost certainly played a role.

UPDATE 2/14, 3:02am EST: A probable smoking pre-print has been released, by the National Natural Science Foundation of China:

"In summary, somebody was entangled with the evolution of 2019-nCoV coronavirus. In addition to origins of natural recombination and intermediate host, the killer coronavirus probably originated from a laboratory in Wuhan."

In a predictable turn, that article has been removed and both researchers have since deleted their profiles off of the ResearchGate site completely. Furthering the appearance of a cover-up, back on January 2nd, the Wuhan Institute of Virology's director sent out a memo forbidding discussion of an "unknown pneumonia in Wuhan" after ordering the destruction of all related lab materials a day earlier, making it abundantly clear that the Chinese government knew about this outbreak long before they took any steps to contain it, or made any public announcement.

These propaganda efforts have been bolstered by possible collusion from American scientists, some of which is detailed below – but also most notably by one Peter Daszak, who had been publishing papers on coronaviruses alongside the primary Chinese person-of-interest, Zhengli Shi, for years. Perhaps most notably, Daszak is listed as a co-author in the paper first documenting the isolation of a coronavirus from a bat that targets the ACE2 receptor – just like COVID-19 – which was done in Wuhan's virology lab supervised by Zhengli Shi, and led by a second suspect Chinese researcher who you'll meet below. At best, Daszak is perhaps acting as an unwitting agent of the Chinese government, but regardless holds an enormous conflict-of-interest. And if nothing else, it is wildly irresponsible to speak-out against the possibility that the virus got out of a lab when a natural origin has not been conclusively demonstrated. Daszak's statement in The Lancet is either incompetence, or is meant to be a smokescreen for the wanton hubris and greed that have fueled the gain-of-function research detailed below: As one possible related project which may have overlapped with this one, coronaviruses have been seen as a viable vector for an HIV vaccine for years – a project with hundreds of millions of dollars dangling over it.

# Italy's Chinese dilemma

_Ahead of Xi Jinping's visit to Italy, China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has joined the long series of issues that divide Italy's ruling parties_

One only has to glance at the Italian media to know that, across the political spectrum, Italy's public debate is dominated by discussions of whether the Chinese government is attempting to buy the country. Following Rome's official endorsement of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) earlier this month, most prominent Italian decision-makers and political commentators seem to have put aside urgent challenges on the European agenda to focus on this unexpected shift to the east. Even issues as divisive as migration and the powers of the European Union – pillars of the ruling Five Star Movement's and League's political identity – now seem somewhat outdated.

Rome now seems stuck between Beijing and Washington – between economic opportunities and security guarantees
The debate pits those who prioritise strengthened economic relations with China against those who fear that the initiative will turn Italy into the "next Africa or Greece". In many ways, the recent increase in Italian enthusiasm for closer economic relations with China began in 2014, when Matteo Renzi, then prime minister, conducted a high-profile tour of the country. Renzi's successor, Paolo Gentiloni, continued the effort to court Beijing, as has the current Italian government.

China and Italy are currently negotiating a memorandum that includes 50 economic, cultural, and infrastructural agreements, most of which concern Italian state-owned and private companies, including national champions. The memorandum – which, unlike those Beijing has with 13 other European states, is not legally binding – will be signed during President Xi Jinping's 21-24 March trip to Italy (the first such visit by a Chinese leader since Hu Jintao attended the G8 summit in L'Aquila in 2009). Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, a former lawyer, has repeatedly emphasised that the memorandum will include all necessary references to the European and multilateral values Italy has asked China to respect. He aims to reassure Rome's European and other partners – primarily Washington – that Italy remains committed to the EU and the transatlantic relationship.

Italy's current attitude towards China has two key features. Firstly, no one would have expected the current government to be so open to Chinese investment, given its traditional orientation towards partners such as the United States and Russia. Secondly, the government is divided on the issue (this is hardly a novelty in Italian politics). The Five Star Movement and Conte strongly support the agreement with Beijing, seeing it as a unique opportunity to improve economic relations with China, especially through Chinese shipping to the ports of Trieste and Genova. Luigi di Maio – head of the Five Star Movement and a deputy prime minister – leads the initiative in his role as economics minister. He must handle the divisive China issue carefully, as his party is losing support to its partner in the governing coalition, the League.

League leader Matteo Salvini, the other deputy prime minister, is also in a difficult position. This is due to his long-running enthusiasm for US President Donald Trump and the transatlantic relationship more broadly. Salvini's cautious approach to Beijing is reflected in his successful attempt to exclude from the memorandum any reference to Chinese investment in telecommunications. He has done so to prevent Huawei from becoming involved in Italy's 5G cabling and construction project, in line with US warnings that the Chinese firm might use this to access intelligence exchanges between Italy and its NATO partners.

Regarding himself as the leader of Europe's sovereigntist bloc, Salvini has approached the BRI with a reserve and subtlety he rarely displays on other issues. Yet the League's position is clear: there will be no deal with China that undermines Italy's security or relationship with strategically important partners such as the US.

With the European Parliament elections due to take place in less than two months, Salvini is also very conscious of the electoral support he can gain from taking a hard line on Beijing. Given that most Italians appear to have little enthusiasm for China, Salvini is likely keen to avoid any suggestion of having betrayed his "Italians and Italian goods first" campaign slogan. Yet he also wants to be perceived as a credible political leader, partner, and interlocutor elsewhere in Europe, especially Germany, the United Kingdom, and France – the three European countries that both benefit most from Chinese direct investment and are most concerned about Italy's eastern shift. Salvini also appears to be acknowledging the concerns of the EU institutions, which often state that bilateral relations with China which could undermine European integrity and unity.

Thus, the BRI has joined a long series of issues that divide Italy's ruling parties. In the run-up to Xi's visit, it will be interesting to see whether they will present a united front on China, as well as in dealing with their European partners. The Italian president, who usually operates behind the scenes, will play a major part in this, trying to balance the two souls of the government, mediate between them, and reassure the US that security will always come before economics. Nonetheless, Rome now seems stuck between Beijing and Washington – between economic opportunities and security guarantees.

More broadly, Italian politics is in a highly unusual state: the domestic agenda has been overshadowed by foreign policy concerns. But this will not last long. The BRI debate could provide Italian parties with the perfect chance to test their strategies for the European Parliament election campaign – a campaign that will determine the fate of both halves of the government.

The deal was made to sell off Western ownership in facilities in China in order to get some sort of a payment. That's more likely. And that's what happened in Japan. The Japanese were forced with threats of earthquake weapons to hand over control of their listed companies. And on the surface what it looked like was a huge stock market crash, after which hedge funds went, you know, "bargain hunting". But the reality was, it was engineered. And I think the same thing is happening in China.

## Introduction

In March 2019, Italy and the People's Republic of China (PRC) signed a broad and comprehensive, albeit not legally binding, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Italy to join the Chinese-led Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). This has triggered a significant debate—in Brussels as well as in Washington—about whether this decision signalled an Italian shift away from its historical pro-European and pro-Atlantic position, to a more nuanced position open to deepening strategic ties with China. The MoU is not definite proof of such a shift, and the Italian government has denied any strategic change. However, Italy is the first major European country, and the first Group of Seven (G7) member, to formalize its participation with the BRI project. As such, this development is particularly remarkable.

The motivations explaining the Italian approach are economic and geopolitical; they are also linked to the specific ideological preferences of some of the current members of the government. However, this decision also came about at a time in which the European Union (EU) started shifting its rhetoric on China: the EU now describes the PRC not only as an economic partner, but also increasingly as a strategic competitor. As such, the Italian approach on China will represent a critical strategic trend to observe in the coming months, as many believe that this economic cooperation will inevitably turn into a greater geopolitical understanding between the two countries—thus reinforcing Beijing's influence in Europe and the Mediterranean region.

## The MoU: Contents and Significance

The MoU was officially signed on March 23, 2019, during an official visit by PRC President Xi Jinping. Noting that Italian-Chinese relations are excellent, Xi said that "prospects for cooperation between Italy and China have a brilliant future" due to the fact that Italy was eager to deepen these relations further (https://www.adnkronos.com/aki-en/pol...tml?refresh_ce). Italians have focused mostly on the economic impact of such agreements: for Rome, the ten trade agreements on the table are worth about $22.45 billion, and they are expected to provide a significant stimulus to the Italian economy as a whole (https://www.ilsole24ore.com/art/noti...?uuid=AB2KhKhB). Under the previous center-left government headed by Paolo Gentiloni of the Democratic Party, Italy had already started a process of considering engagement with the BRI; Gentiloni himself attended the BRI Forum in 2017. However, recent months have seen an acceleration of diplomatic movements following the visit of PRC Foreign Minister Wang Yi to Italy in January 2019 (https://www.ilfoglio.it/esteri/2019/...n-cina-234794/).

The MoU does not represent an international agreement, has no binding effect between the parties, and remains mostly generic in its contents and wording (http://www.governo.it/sites/governo....ia-Cina_IT.pdf). The collaboration will focus primarily, but not exclusively, in the sectors of transport, logistics and infrastructure. Infrastructure connectivity has a central role in the MoU, and must be understood within the broader framework of the "Connectivity Platform" between the EU and China, which is intended to facilitate infrastructure and transportation projects (https://ec.europa.eu/transport/sites...ction-plan.pdf).

The MoU stressed that there would be "open, transparent and non-discriminatory procurement procedures"—historically a significant problem for countries trading with China. Rumours concerning additional MoUs have indicated that Italy's 5G telecommunications network would be part of the cooperation agreements, but later the Ministry of Economic Development—the institutional actor that more than any other pushed to sign the MoU with China—and President Sergio Mattarella both denied that this would be the case (http://www.ansa.it/sito/notizie/topn...c9755e99d.html).

Italy is not the first European country that China has reached out to under the framework of the BRI. The PRC's initial focus was primarily on Eastern and Central European countries, and several countries still waiting to become members of the EU. At the end of 2018, China first raised the bar by signing BRI agreements with Greece and Portugal. However, Italy's entry into this project changed the terms of the debate. Despite all of its problems, Italy remains a European heavyweight: Rome is a founding state of the EU, a member of the G7, a long-standing NATO member, and remains among the top five European countries in terms of economic size, population, and political clout. As such, Italy entering into a BRI agreement, even a non-binding one, has raised concerns among officials in Brussels and Washington (https://www.politico.eu/article/ital...h-chinese-mou/).

## Italy as a "Trojan Horse" for Chinese Influence?

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has denied that Italy that will become a "Trojan Horse" for the PRC in Europe. He made clear that the MoU is in accordance with EU rules and policies, and in full agreement with the 2030 Agenda, the 2020 EU-China Cooperation Agenda, and the EU Strategy for Eurasian Connectivity (https://www.corriere.it/politica/19_...e8762643.shtml). The language of the MoU is vague on most matters, and leaves room for interpretation regarding the extent of cooperative projects. In addition, several observers have pointed to the fact that, while deepening economic relations with China is clearly an important goal, this could have been done outside of the BRI framework (https://www.ispionline.it/it/pubblic...SAAEgKdafD_BwE).

There are a number of further, historical elements of concern that resurface from time to time in Brussels and Washington concerning Italy and its international stance. While Rome has been a firm supporter of the European communitarian project and Transatlantic cooperation, at the same time, for historical, cultural and geopolitical reasons, it has always retained some freedom of action in dealing with strategic competitors or enemies of the EU and NATO. This was the case regarding the Soviet Union, for instance, with Italy being one of the NATO members more active in nurturing relations with Moscow. These concerns still inform the views of many of Italy's allies, as they are concerned that this inconsistency may resurface again.

## The Drivers of the Italian Approach

Economic considerations, geopolitical needs, and specific political conditions were at the core of Italian motivations in signing this MoU. The economic rationale is particularly significant, as Italy considers the BRI a vital opportunity to boost Italian exports to China. Italy has suffered from serious financial problems in recent years, and the recent deterioration of the global economic outlook is set to have an immediate impact on Rome, threatening to trigger a new economic recession (https://www.ilsole24ore.com/art/noti...?uuid=AErKhVJH). As such, Italian policymakers, whatever their political stripe, are always very focused on finding opportunities for Italian companies abroad as long as the Italian domestic market remains stagnant. The Chinese consumer market is perceived as a terrific opportunity, particularly in light of the rising Chinese interest in Italian products.

In addition, Italy is eyeing Chinese investments in the infrastructure sector. The PRC is particularly interested in the port of Genoa—and above all in the port of Trieste, the historical Mediterranean gateway to trade and business with Danuban Europe. In an interview with the Italian daily _La Repubblica_, Wang Huiyao, the founder of the Center for China and Globalization (a Chinese think tank close to the government), said that "the Italian economy is going nowhere and joining the Belt and Road earlier than others is a great opportunity... Italy has many economic problems, Europe is in crisis and the BRI is the only major global investment plan" (https://www.repubblica.it/esteri/201...na_-222213439/).

Another critical reason motivating the Italian approach is the shifting geopolitical reality of the Mediterranean. The past ten years have shown clearly that the United States, while remaining a significant Mediterranean player, is less and less interested in this region: the hands-off American approach towards the conflicts in Syria and Libya is an example of this shifting reality. As such, while this dynamic does not imply that Washington is disappearing from the Mediterranean geostrategic equation, a number of external powers are now trying to deepen their presence in this space. China is one of the foremost of these powers, and it is increasingly active in the Maghreb, in the Mashreq (primarily in Egypt), and in a number of European Mediterranean countries (for example, Greece, Serbia, and Croatia) (https://balkaninsight.com/2018/09/18...ia-09-18-2018/). As such, while Italy joining the BRI does not mean that Rome is ready to abandon its historical pro-Atlantic stance, the fear of American disengagement from the Mediterranean is raising concerns in Rome about future Italian security. Inevitably, this will lead Italy to interact with all those global powers who are becoming more involved in the Mediterranean region.

Lastly, the Italian position towards China has been influenced by the peculiar political and ideological features of the current Italian government. The current governing "yellow-green coalition" is formed by the 5 Stars Movement (5S) and the League (previously the Northern League)—two parties that are both relatively new to power (although the League has shared government responsibilities in earlier cabinets led by Berlusconi). The less clearly defined historical legacies, institutions, and political cultures of these parties have left greater room for specific political personalities to drive the government's agenda, and shape its stance on global affairs.

In this context, the two deputy prime ministers of Italy—the leader of the League, Matteo Salvini, and the leader of the 5S, Luigi Di Maio—have had a clear and visible influence in shaping the international political agenda of the government. Salvini has prioritized his relations with the so-called "Sovranist" bloc and Russia, and he has expressed several criticisms of ties with the PRC, fearing that Beijing would "colonize" the Italian economic system (https://www.huffingtonpost.it/2019/0...on_a_23689713/). However, these concerns did not stop the Italian government from moving ahead with the BRI MoU. The main political supporter of this decision was the other governmental coalition partner, the 5S, some of whose members share vital links with China. The 5S Movement remains a diversified and heterogeneous movement, and the lack of a well-defined political ideology leaves room to individuals to shape the movement and the government's priorities on several dossiers.

Luigi Di Maio, the Minister for Economic Development and leader of the 5S, was the major institutional actor in crafting this agreement—together with one of his undersecretaries, Michele Geracci, whose role in promoting the deepening of Italo-Chinese relations can be hardly underestimated. Geracci is considered close to the League, a party he joined in 2018 as an "expert in foreign markets," but he was also very close to Beppe Grillo, the founding father of the 5S movement. Geracci lived for years in China, has an unusually broad network of contacts in the country, and his role in government has been characterized since the very beginning by an intense focus on deepening ties with China (https://www.ilfoglio.it/esteri/2019/...overno-241742/).

## Conclusions

While the BRI MoU that Italy signed with China does not mean that Rome is changing its historical foreign policy approach and its major alliances, it has raised concerns in Brussels and Washington. This was inevitable since Italy was the first European heavyweight that formalised its participation in the BRI project. While the MoU is non-binding and somewhat generic, this latter element might be used in the future to further deepen relations in several strategic sectors. Economic and geopolitical considerations drive Italy's approach to the BRI. However, this evolution was also favoured by the presence of elements in the current government particularly sympathetic with Chinese interests. Although the latter might change in the future if the government changes (or if less pro-China elements within the 5S movement emerge), economic and geopolitical considerations are set to remain significant in the coming years. Given the geopolitical significance of the BRI, the evolution of Italian relations with China will be particularly significant—not only from an economic standpoint, but also for the future of the European and Mediterranean geopolitical equations.

So it is not in dispute how JP Morgan finagled -- without full disclosure -- to obtain the signature authority to secure the deposit of the Urban Trust Assets, nor is it any secret how JP Morgan distributed the assets to the other banks.

So what does this theft of Urban Trust Assets by JP Morgan have to do with UBS -- and you? It basically represents the re-capitalization of bankrupt central banks using private assets without the consent of the depositors. Think of it as the biggest illegal bail-in in human history.

UBS is indeed the largest private bank on Earth and during the furor of the Second World War, its Receipt Book was stolen. It disappeared like the Nazi gold, right from under our noses. The records from 1862 onward showing which nations borrowed from which nations and which financial accords were signed that affected private bank deposits -- all of it -- vanished, along with depositor records -- that is, the receipts showing who deposited what.

This left UBS (and the Urban Trust) in possession of vast amounts of private assets, and not a clue who any of it belonged to. No record of the depositors, and only account-level records of the assets.

Think of it as the ultimate "Swiss Banking Gone Wrong" scenario.

This led, in 1963, to the famous Green Hilton Memorial Agreement, which was aimed at unlocking all the assets the Americans deposited in the Philippines, and all the "abandoned assets" from "unknown sources" that were in the Urban Trust and in limbo because of the missing Receipt record. The circumstance concerning the missing Receipt records is referenced at the very beginning of the Green Hilton Memorial Agreement, which admits it is being substituted for lack of the Receipt book.

Enter Julius Divinagracia, gatekeeper of the asset accounts, complete with all the account-level information that did survive WWII, insisting that the accounts be assigned to him, which, in the absence of any other private authority or record, the Principals all agreed to. They all signed off and granted him Power of Attorney to settle the issues, and bypass the Green Hilton Memorial Agreement, because his information was the most complete and accurate description of the known private asset accounts.

He was promptly picked up by the CIA and cashiered away as a permanent US resident, unable to travel or speak or do much of anything to exercise his powers of attorney, thanks to the same false registration processes that were used to defraud everyone else in this country. They gave him a new name and he "disappeared" leaving the funds once more in limbo.

Someone gave the Receipt book of the Urban Trust to someone for safekeeping. And who would that be?

(16:33) Even before we deal with impacts of these meteorites is that the earth -- because of the radiation that the earth is taking in right now -- the earth is becoming like an egg that is in boiling water, and it is starting to crack up the earth. Billions of dollars was spent by governments around the world, including the United States, in order to build underground bunkers. And those bunkers is where they had planned to go when we go through this meteorite belt. Not because of Nibiru but because the meteorite belt that they knew that the earth would be going through, traveling in this -- as they describe it, like a spiral spiraling thing that is moving in that direction there.

But the thing is, is we're about to enter into all this, but the one thing scientists had not taken into consideration was the fact that there were very complex issues with the radiation that we would be going through as well. And it's causing the earth to actually heat up internally, and as a result of that it is creating cracks within the earth. Now one such idea of that is like this photograph right here that I can put on the screen for you here, this is where fresh water is just draining off into a huge crack in the earth, and this is happening on a global scale. Because of the earth heating up within the earth is cracking up and now those -- these are not even doomsday preppers -- these are elitists that have built these billion dollar underground structures. They are very concerned if they'll even be safe on the inside of these when these meteorites begin to strike our earth.

And in fact, that is not the only issue that they're dealing with. They're also dealing with the fact that because of all the things that are happening -- that we are going to deal with earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and winds of over a hundred miles per hour. Because it's not a climate change as a result of CO2 emissions, as we're being told, but rather the earth is absorbing such a huge amount of radiation that the core of the earth is heating up from within. This is what's going to be catastrophic for us here on the earth. And we're going to face a lot of other issues before even dealing with these massive amount of asteroids that are coming.

And the thing is, is once they come as well, there is very little hope of a survivability above ground, with the exception of multiple locations on the earth. And that's what I want to show you. I want to first take you to the maps right here. Central Africa is considered by the scientist to be a safe zone. When I say a safe zone, why do I even say they know that there's a safe zone? From what has been shared with me, they're able to track about 80 percent of the rocks that are coming that are going to hit the earth. 20 percent of them they can not track. Either they don't see them yet, they're too small, they're too fast, too slow, they're traveling at different speeds. And the thing is the earth is going to be pummeled by them. And some of them will be huge. The displacement of the oceans will be unheard of, and in fact, I was told that when they were first preparing for this, they did not consider the fact that -- or did not know that they were going to be dealing with an issue that the earth would begin to heat up before this event takes place. And causing the cracks and the crevice of the earth, it is also causing it to be to where they're getting cracks within these bunkers, and water is able to flow inside the bunkers now.

So now the speculation of where is the best place to be comes down to these places like Central Africa. Again, even though these are considered safe zones, they're not without their own probability of being hit directly as well. But not nearly as severe as the 80% of those rocks they know where they are. Another place that'll be a safe zone is the Middle East. Israel, Jordan, Syria, Western Syria specifically. Okay, those areas there. Another place it'll be safe as well, it's one other -- well actually two other places -- China, Central China to be exact. In fact, where all those ghost cities are -- those are supposed to be some of the safe havens, where the ghost cities are.

Now, isn't it interesting that the United States, Russia, and Saudi Arabia -- many other countries are all in a war to overtake Syria. And all the Syrian people have been forced out of Syria, pushed up into Turkey, and Turkey is working on pushing them all up into Europe. There's a reason for that. They know that Europe will be decimated by what's coming. Decimated so badly there won't be much left of Europe. So, the elite want to get them out of that area. And so many of these people, including Turkey and Saudi Arabia, who are not in safe zones, they want to be able to move their elites up into Syria, and up into Iraq, and into Israel et cetera.

Israel wants to have a bigger buffer zone, because after all they're planning on having the New World Order -- the new world order out of chaos -- to reset up a global economic system. And seeing China -- central China -- is to survive, it's one of the reasons why China has become the next global world power.

I don't really know about Hong Kong but I've wondered and speculated whether or not Beijing may not be in such a good place in the north. Because I hear the north of China is not that good. Maybe Beijing knows that Hong Kong is going to survive this very well, and that's why Beijing wants to get a hold of that. And Taiwan actually falls in an area that perhaps might survive to some degree as well.

But as we've often heard too about the displacement of the oceans, and what happens there, that's another big issue. And this is why, as we go back to Central Africa or the Middle East, we can look and see why Russia, China, the US -- everybody is fighting over Central Africa. It's going to be one of the few places on the planet that'll be still inhabitable to some degree. And according to what I was told as well -- and we've heard so many of this disinformation, and probably made most famous of all by none other than John Moore -- is the United States. There's actually considered to be two states that are safe zones: Missouri and Nebraska. Isn't that kind of odd. Right dab slap in the middle of the United States, these are considered to be somewhat safe zones. But then again, it was shared with me a very interesting statement that I just will probably never forget as long as I live. If you live outside of those areas, say like where I am here in Orlando, and pretty much most other people on the earth -- he said, survival rate will be nearly no-one. And of course, when the impact happens, as he stated, it'll be like the twinkling of an eye. [...]

(25:43) The time -- even if you did decide you were gonna try to really relocate -- it's not much on our side now. As I was told, if you were gonna bug out, you should be doing it right now.

The elitists are on the move. That's what they have planned for us. And this whole thing about the Seven Noahide Laws, this is part of the New World Order plan. You have to understand, as it was said to me, there'll still being many people that will survive, when these events come on the earth. But the thing is, they would outnumber the elitists that are hiding -- wherever they hide out, whether they're down in the Congo of Africa, or whether or not they're in China, or whether they're in Israel, in the Middle East, where they've done destroyed practically everybody there -- there's still going to be places where they will be. The last thing they want is to face people that didn't have a place to go. They don't want to face them with all their Second Amendment rights packing along with them. So this is the reason why they're using clandestine means -- subliminal means -- to have an excuse to take away your constitutional rights. To justify it, for whatever the means might be -- pandemic, or as it was said to me by my Israeli friend that has the connections with the intelligence community -- cause a problem in this country here, where the people themselves will run out of their own ammo.

It could be that even if Ben-Nun is sincere, he's being fed disinformation by his sources. It could be that they made up the whole meteor impacts and pole shift thing as a fake reason to justify global depopulation (in which case people like Graham Hancock could have been serving their agenda all along).

Even if the meteorite impacts are actually going to happen, it could be that they're going to cause them artificially using some black world technology. I found it suspicious how Ben-Nun said that Israel (along with other parts of Greater Israel) would be safe zones.

Another scenario is that the reason why this sequence of events is being triggered now is that there's an intelligence which oversees the earth, and which will not let humanity reach technological singularity, so that it will manifest various natural disasters in order to revert humanity back to an earlier stage of technological development. It would explain why Ben-Nun talked about how there might be cracks in the earth which will make even underground bunkers uninhabitable.

He said, "I was told last year when I went on a vacation, Dick, enjoy the vacation, because you won't be able to travel next year in 2020. There'll come a time when you won't be able to travel." Two and a half weeks ago, I got a call -- it was a Saturday morning, it was at dawn, and it was very serious, and said, we're giving you tickets, you and your wife, go, you have a couple of days."

He also said, "I was told, Trump was put in to oversee the bankruptcy of the United States -- and that's coming too. But the bankruptcy involves -- the debts have to be settled, so that's going to be the ugly part, settling the debts. I won't say too much about that." Before it, he said, "At birth, based on your birth certificate, they know where you are. If you're born in Santa Barbara, affluent parents, and you're expected to go to college -- they can chart your life, how much money you're going to generate for the system. Someone who's working at a bean field down where I am, they're not -- I don't want to sound callous here to say they're -- I mean, as a human life, is valuable, but in terms of contribution to the system, it's a little less. That's one of the reasons why I'm here is -- it's a place where people are going to be left alone, as opposed to the United States. The United States has to be taken down for this system to come onboard. I don't want to get too deep into that. I wanna be careful. We can talk about that privately, that's kind of a sensitive subject."

I think he hinted that Americans will be killed as collateral for U.S. debt, because the birth certificates of U.S. citizens have been collaterized. (Like the research of Anna von Reitz has shown: http://www.annavonreitz.com/videos.html.)

He also said, "I'll give you a little bit of good news. For those who survive, they're gonna release some new technology that will be pretty flashy." (Which supports what Benjamin Fulford has been saying.)

Edit: After listening to a few more of Dick Allgire's videos, my reading is that might have referred to how humans are actually slaves whose lives have been turned into tradable financial instruments. After the gold standard was abandoned, currencies have been backed by the lives of humans. After the world switches to cryptocurrency, humans lose their monetary value to their owners, after which they will be killed off. So it would mean that the motivation for global depopulation would be connected to the switch to cryptocurrency.

My third hypothesis for why they're planning to kill the American population is that they owe American citizens massive amounts of money, so they are going to kill off their creditors. (I still don't know if something similar is planned for Europe.)

Most likely, the rats are trying to establish a contract settlement quid pro quo, in which they claim to have paid you your share of the bankruptcy settlement -- a pittance of what you are owed -- and your unguarded signature on the back of that check would be taken as proof of your agreement.

So, if Mr. Trump sends everyone checks, sign yours "Without prejudice or settlement." in addition to your usual denomination of it as "lawful money".

Keep a copy of the check and your limited endorsement on the back and send a letter and another copy of the check front and back to Mr. Mnuchin at the Treasury, informing him that you are not settling your claim against the bankrupt UNITED STATES, INC. and require the entire amount owed to be returned to you, together with your land patents, free and clear of debt or encumbrance.

So, if they send you a partial payment, fine. Take it. But don't allow them to tell another Big Fat Whopper and claim that you accepted that check as settlement of your claim against the UNITED STATES, INC.

Use your limited endorsement to restrict their "interpretation" of your acceptance.

Edit: In 2018, Anna von Reitz wrote how the "Life Force Value Annuities" of Canadian citizens were claimed by the Crown after Canada declared bankruptcy in 2017 (http://annavonreitz.com/morecompletesummation.pdf). So is something similar now going to happen in the U.S. or Europe, or has it already happened?

Prince Philip received $950 Trillion Dollars worth of "Life Force Value" annuities as settlement of the bankruptcy of CANADA which occurred April 15, 2017. These are bonds places on living people without their knowledge or consent, in Breach of Trust and all decency, already universally outlawed.

At least $750 Trillion of that belongs to us, the present generation of Americans, and their ancestors for the past six generations who were also bilked by these vermin. The Canadian Governor of Ottawa was holding our purported bonds when CANADA declared bankruptcy and so the "presumed" but not actual creditors swooped in and claimed them as "abandoned property".

This is a reprise of another insurance annuities scheme that was outlawed circa 1700. They just waited for popular memory to fade and brought it out again.

And now, we come to the direct bankruptcy of the UNITED STATES and its franchises, dba STATE OF WISCONSIN and so on... same schtick, oh, we don't know where the actual owners of this real estate went. They just sailed away back in 1933 -- if you believe their version of this story -- and haven't been seen or heard from since.

It's time they heard the news, folks. We're back, and we've been back about twenty years, so there is no possible excuse for any misunderstanding.
